HR Assistant,

I am currently volunteering at SAPS as an HR Assistant, I glad that they gave me a chance to work with them i am learning technical & non-technical skills e.g i can work under pressure, i can handle stress. They are also happy to have me because i am vibrant, committed, focused, accommodative, organized & i am a team player & i finish work on time. My typical work day are: Answering calls, Taking messages, welcoming clients, Emailing, Faxing, Photocopying, filing, Typing of letters, update personal files, update Leave register, process leave application & leave auditing. Lastly i am a very friendly person who have interpersonal skills, computer skills & etc

Pros: They say i must wait for posts to be advertised so that i can i apply for a permanent position
Cons: I am working 8hrs per day

Good learning curve

I start a day looking forward to helping the community it gives me a pleasure to see a person leaving our office satisfied, as getting along with coworkers I get along with them and we are a team I mI enjoy working on a case and being able to at least crack something out of it

Excellent planning and organizational skills

IhI have obtained my National diploma in Legal Assistance at Tshwane University of Technology and I am a computer literacy and I can speak and write four official languages.

Learning curve

I'm a hard worker who likes to work as a team. I adapt easily to new environment. I like solving problems and dealing with grievances. I can work under pressure and with different people

I currently work as sector manger,where i manage residential area with population of more than 17000,goverment institutions including schools,hospital,clinics,business complexes

Good and exceptional learning opportunities

To work for the SAPS is very challenging as you work always under pressure, and you always learn new things on the job. Relationship is very important as inter relations are of utmost important for anybodies safety within the police environment. As police officers we are trained to watch each others back and to work as a team. Enjoy being around positive people and socialising.

Excellent learning place

I've learnt more than I could've in any other place as I've notice how people react to the regulations of the administration and how most people dislike the truth. the politics which I've learnt how to maintain your ground and stand up for yourself at every turn.

Pros: learning the day to day and how to be professional at all times

Great experience and challenges every day

My work is challenging as any decision that i make soon or late i have to give a clear justifications of it and been able to work on my own without any supervision from the management or superior, that gives me a confident and taught me a self decipline and do my duties as required

Pros: To develop me for future challenges
