Investigating officer
im an investigating officer in the police service and i investigate cases and prepare cases to court and attend to court proceedings and give evidence in court and have been in the police for 10years of which 5years investigating dockets and i have been trained the the saps in various courses in investigation and have diploma in policing and currently studying forensic investigation and auditing in unisa and work well with teams and under pressure

Excellent experience
It was a long journey filled with learning, good times and bad times. It required a lot of hard work, dedication, perseverance, consistency, emence will power and patience. You are constantly challenged and required to think on your feet using your own descretion at times to reach targets responsibily so. Working hours were often long and we traveled a lot for physical inspections and audits. All in all its a highly busy and exciting environment.

Great public service performed
Dear sir/madam. I am an experienced Manager, both in the Operational and Instructor/Facilitation field at National level within the Safety and Security (high risk) environment. I have the knowledge, skills and qualifications as a Safety and Security supervisor, and have managed teams, platoons and numerous huge domestic events from a National perspective. I was responsible (and more importantly accountable) for capturing and analyzing data into the online intelligence software and aid in guiding the department on how crime analysis products should be used to combat crime and disorder problems within the environment. I will be an asset to your company and I will contribute hugely within company policies and standard operating procedures.

I am looking for new challenges. I am an enthusiastic person who likes challenges. I can work under pressure. I am a persuasive person. I am a good negotiator who is a workaholic. I believe that dedication, determination and devotion are the pillars of my life.

Excellence learning curve
Working at South African Police Service it gave me a great opportunity to learn new things. I have learn so much and enjoy every time. And i made a good relationship with my co-workers we were helping each other and i get motivation from them. I have learn to respect loyalty and responsibility. The most challenging aspect was to work under pressure but i overcame that challenges. It was a good opportunity to work at SAPS.

Having worked in the SAPS has been a great opportunity and a great opportunity for me.
Working in the SAPS is challenging since you interact with new people on the daily basis with different problems. One has to always potray a professional behavior to insure that the image of the organization is protected and service is rendered in a professional manner. My daily duties includes the investigation of reported cases, interviewing the victims/suspects, drafting statements, liasing with the prosecutors in court and testifying in courts if required to do so. Working in the SAPS demands team work, I have adjusted well in this field and also attended a course Functioning in a Team which made it easier to function and work well as a team. I've learned the importance of respect and discipline and how negative behavior can tarnish the name of the organization. My work involves learning new things everyday, each with different approach to solve and that's what I enjoy the most, one has to be innovative to solve the problem.

Great job
Excellent learning experience and opportunity to work within the system. The hours are great and you can see people grow within the ranks. The location is not bad also as I don't spend more time and money on transport. And I also rotate within the HR component

I currently work as sector manger,where i manage residential area with population of more than 17000,goverment institutions including schools,hospital,clinics,business complexes

I associate easily with co-workers. Hard worker . disciplined
I investigate criminal cases. Collect evidence send them to different SAPS aiders. If suspect found at the scene of crime will be arrested taken to court , bail will be opposed if necessary. Witness statement obtained. Usually we are paired in a car. And we work comfortably together as a pair. I learned patience and I loved field work.
Pros: Direct contact with the people and offering my assistance.
