Excellent travel

Day begins early housekeeping and breakfast preperation i then check diary set out work day read all emails and corresponds i complete any housekeeping and do all clerical correspondence i dro off laudry do shopping and check on properties and staff then the day starts to close with dinner preperation and any meetings or administration for following day close off day with filing and serving dinner.

Pros: Great opportunity for renewal of skills and travel

Learning Curve

The bosses are nice and everything but the company struggles to retain staff and labour abuae takes place all of the time. All staff is being watched and micro managed.

Love my work and a people person

I love dental assisting. It is by far one of the most interesting jobs and everyday you learn something new. It is hard work but fulfilling when patients is happy with the treatment. I get on well with most people and i believe in keeping a good working relationship with the people that works in a practise

Pros: If there is perks it is a good advantage
Cons: Do not mind long hours

Good learning experience

Luv interacting with people , love learning new things about products or techniques working hours would be 8 or 9 hours. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how happy the client is with the end result

Technology

Due to nature of the business huge exposure to telecommunications technology like fibre, microwave, wireless solutions etc. Also pbx exposure. Technical projects providing solutions to customers. Also customer interaction to ensure solutions is implemented correctly.

I gain great experience over the years as Raw material controller and store.

In the morning I must get work order pack and see what need to be blend . I then issue the blender with BOMs to blend. I then look if all blending ADs are right. I then enter setter Ads and make sure the blend that I get is right and if not raise ECR to change the wrong AD in order to correct it. Issue powder to plan jobs . Check stock. Afternoon a calculate to part weight how much blend s i s needed for A/shift and N/shift. I work close to setters and engineering to solve problems. The most challenging aspect is that there is always a problem to solve and one have to think on his feet. I enjoy solving problems the most and i have learn alot about customar satisfaction and how to deal with them.

Pros: There is not oportunities for growth by our company
Cons: Currently we work 8 hours and now and then overtime. All depends but some times we work up to 4 hours per day.

Great learning opportunity

A general day would be to pick up the children from school, drive them home. Make them lunch and then tackle homework with the eldest child. Once that is complete. I spend time with the children stimulating them through means of play or art activities. I sometimes take them out on outings. I have a great relationship with the nanny that also works in the house. The mother of the children and I have an optimistic yet professional relationship with each other. We get along well. Learning how to manage with children. All ages, discipline including. I mostly enjoy spending time with the kids. Most challenging would say needing to be harsh know them at disciplining times. But it has to be done.

Pros: Perfect family. All enjoy having me as their au pair
Cons: Salary not enough

Expedential Growth

Exposure to high level management of finance, client, staff. This is a challenging industry that requires consistency to maintain standards. Due to semi or unskilled labour... Moral is hard to cultivate amongst staff. Great day is an inside to free day.

Pros: Exposure to all areas of business, not being micro managed
Cons: Low staff turnover

Leadership skills

I am a good leader in everything I do, I was a class representative at the university of Johannesburg engineering class, I was a chairperson at the new covenant church of Christ, I was the leader of a community youth prayer team, I do serminas in December to educate youth about teenage pregnancy, abstaining, education and universities registration.

Cons: Working on Sundays
