WORKING AS AN ADMIN CLERK IN A BIG INSTITUTION
My day starts at 06:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday. I work different categories of people and its my duty to ensure they are all catered for. I order and provide all working equipment and am supportive to all the staff's needs. I work with the general public assisting them gracefully with their enquiries. I have learnt to multitask and be attentive and have a wonderful yet professional relationship with my co-workers. I do enjoy my job and the challenge is sometimes not having supplies.

It's a great place for one to grow professionally
I have a very good relationship with my colleagues My typical day is filled with screening for patients in the wards if they will need OT services then do assessments. Plan for treatment and then render cost effective OT services, for those who need assistive devices I issue to them and then provide patients with home programmes I enjoy rendering OT services, no challenges yet

Managing both admitted patients as well as OPD. Doing calls 80 hours month
I work in a district hospital where I manage both admitted and OPD patients. Our hospital has no departments so I get to see different patients on a daily basis. We also do I reach to the surrounding clinics.

Hectic and fast paced environment, with minimal growth and benefits
Highly paced environment, full of pressure, opportunities to grow are limited and the workplace culture not up to scratch. Leadership is in absence that which increases most of the challenges faced by employees.

Quick learner and have beenworking as a team
I have gain so much experience in Supply Chain Unit, starting frm purchasing, capturing, generating orders, recieving goods, processing invoices. I have been involved in Budget minitoring, in a form of monthly reports, quartely reports and annual. I have been learning different finance system and policies. I have also obtained National Diploma in Food and Consumer Science which will help in Quality Assurance standards as the post includes that. With my experience, skills and my qualifications i strongly believe that I will be a suitable candidate

I am gaining my experience in Data management and IT Technician
I am familiar in working long hours I have learnt the fundamentals of Desktop support and Data management I enjoyed most working with my colleagues (working as a team) The challenges that when the users lie about the case which needs to be solved

Customer service
I have learned how to work with different people each day. Leadership skills as you are sometimes entrusted with big tasks. The ability to make decisions. The ability to work rapidly thus still producing efficient results. What i enjoy most about the work is being able to draw up plans for the Department (eg Waste Management plans).
