Excellent experienxe

I have gained a lot of experience and skills.I was trained in all products. We had a food relationship with other department/divisions such as Sales Consultants,Tellers,Customer Services and Business departments,collaboration as well.I was also involved in the Branch when it comes to ther events. Most challenging event was competition when it comes to some products but from certain Sales consultants.

Excellent learning experience

I am currently working at Absa Bank a Middle Office Consultant. Every day is a new day for a new learning experience. I look forward to coming to work, working with such loving and supportive team members. Our goal is to give the best service to our client and live up to our values. We love and respect one another. My success is their success. When my team member is battling I would help out and make sure he/she feels strong enough to face another or serve another client. We do a lot of different projects which is a good learning opportunity and gives us new skills.

UNDER PRESSURE WORKING,KNOWING MY CUSTOMERS, BEING CALM WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS

IT WAS HECTIC AT THE FIRST TIME BUT I GET USED TO MY COLLEAGES. I WAS NOT USED TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE. ALL IN ALL I GAINED A LOT OF EXPERIENCE. SOMETIMES YOU DEAL WITH DIFFICULT CLIENTS BUT AS A HELP PROVIDER YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN CLIENT IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I REALY APPRICIATE AS WE WORK AS A TEAM IF SOMEONE HAS PROBLEM WE MAKE SURE WE DNT GO AWAY WITHOUT FINDING THE SOLUTION

Pros: VERY EXPERIENCED RETAIL BANK. COURAGEOUS STAFF MEMBERS
Cons: SOMETIMES ITS NOT EASY BUT GIVING UP IS NOT A SOLUTION. WORK HARD TO GET YOUR GOAL

Customer facing role and sales

Currently offering customer service duties and cross selling at the same time.Also assisting in other admin duties and extra given duties from management. Identifying sales leads on a daily basis

Pros: Great opportunity for growth and learning on a daily basis
Cons: Working till saterday- long hours

Love to learn

My every day at work is always busy. I have learn't alot about people, especially irate people and how to stay calm in the situation. I am most definately a people's person and love helping people where I can. I will go the extra mile to help a client. The most challenging aspect of my job is when a repurchase has not paid because there is a computer error. Trying to keep the clients calm and phoning to get a manual payment done. We have just had a new system update so this too has been hair-raising but one learns quick.

Pros: There is no promotion opportunities where I am at the moment. Would love to be able to have the opportunities
Cons: Working on Saturdays

Growth

typically we have very slow not so busy days where we get chances to learn at other departments as we have a good working relationship with my coworkers as we always working as a team and assisting one another and i have learned that working as a team bring out better results and not waiting for things to be done and doing it yourself its actually self empowering. I enjoy team talks because that's where we actually have time to discuss ideas and how we feel and team building. the most challenging aspects its when it comes to selling product to our clients of which sometimes you get clients that are just not interested and irate clients.

Pros: doing branch admin work when shesnot around,
Cons: working under pressure when we short staffed

Good Working Ethics

We deal with clients banking transactions, on a daily basis, Deposit, withdrawal, transfers, cheques and forex exchanges. My relationship with my collegues is very smooth we work as three tellers, business teller and a treasu clerk and a Specialist manager. I have learned a lot when dealing with clients but most importantly the absa value and i enjoy dealing with clients the whole interaction on daily basis keeps me going. The challenge is not meeting the clients expectation.

Able to work as team and attentive to details

I am a hard working person and im able to work as a team .im very helpfully.I have communication skills ,customer services , can plan and organizing meetings and computer skills

I worked in a diverse bank, spent with colleagues providing support

I worked at a bank that promoted diversity.My day would be spent with colleagues on different levels providing support to their business area. I have maintained good relationships stakeholders and was able to transform their businesses profitably. I was able to share my knowledge and coaching and mentoring people.I always enjoyed a challenge
