Great learning experience

Working at the Vodacom shop is busy, one of the busiest stores of Vodacom in Gauteng. Never a day that the store isn't full. Co-workers are great people. Very professional. Easy to work with. Great team players. I have learnt patience, different ways of approaching different customers. The different markets. I've learnt ways to sell. Admin work, dealing with computers and certain systems daily. What I enjoy the most are the clients and the group I work with. Never a dull moment. The most challenging aspects of say are keeping clients happy. Sometimes things can go wrong and clients get very upset but there is no room for error. We get it sorted out ASAP.

Pros: Good learning experience
Cons: Hours

Excellent Learning Curve. Oportunity to climb the copoarate ladder

A typical work day: Driving the department and divisional stratey through communucation with various stakeholder levels in the company. Relationship with co-workers: Have a sound relationship with co workers which is beneficial as it assist in cutting through red tape and asssits in with the delivery and completion of tasks timeously. What I have learnt: I have learnt that it take team work in order to deliver on the required objectives. A manager needs to build a good work relationship with staff in order to obtain the best performance output from them. Management means balancing work performance with staff personal goals. What I enjoy most: The interaction with various stakeholswr in the organisation. Being able to deliver a good product or service based on the strategy initiated. The most challenging aspects of the job is aligning other department startegy with your own as buget and resources remain and constraint. Regards Craig Christian

Pros: Great opportuinity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Advantages of being in Sales/Marketing

Working in Sales/Marketing has giving me the opportunity to show off my skills to my co-workers and clients. It is a very challenging job which is what I love about it the most, and also you are required to go out of your way to make ends meet for the company and for yourself. The only disadvantage would be the hours which I work but other than that, it's a really great job! It's mostly about team work but sometimes you are required to work as an individual too.

Pros: Growing with the company
Cons: Long working hours
