Duties on NT I am currently working at Vodacom as Customer administrator consultant, Since January 2017 until to date. I am responsible in processing service request received from client, receiving customer’s request via Service request (SRM) Icap workflow and action them according to the defined TAT &set SLA’S. Creation new mobile account numbers and hardware account, placing orders for customer request devices, sim card and contingency stock, responding and resolving customer’s service request. Migrations of lines to the new commercial agreement, Process cancellation of contract and blacklisting devices, Activation of newlines and ports, Activation of vas.

Great Company
every day is a different day filled with new challenges. always looking to improve output and efficiencies have a great relationship with co-workers. they always come to me for help and advice, not only in my immediate dept but other depts and buildings too known as the 'go to guy' most rewarding part of my job is when my reports are distributed and showcased at meetings as examples of what management is looking for. or when they ask me to verify or validate information from other sources
Pros: working for a large corporate definitely has career growth prospects, great opportunity to be on the leading end of innovation, great learning environment
Cons: many of the functions are centralised in Jnb therefore scope for career growth is limited in Cape Town

Be brave and try harder
I have been with the company for 2006, started as a Call centre agent , moved to Accounts Call Centre als as a Corporate constant dealing with all corporate accounts like SAB ,Absa , SAPS . I 2008 i moved to Back Office as an Escalation agent

I was able to grow in knowledge
My expierence in working for the company was helpful it groomed me to be knowledgeable about different working environments. Daily I would be assisting vodashops and sales department with product information for commercial purposes and also data capturing was part of my duties. Working with a diversed people was exciting and tough but we understood the greater picture of being in the department.

Excellent entry level expaerience
I have solid relationships with my team members, they willingly assist with queries I have never dealt with before, we are more like a family. I've how to communicate with efficiently with customers, care for irate clients and provide satisfactory service to clients regardless of how they feel and made me feel. Dealing with difficult queries fascinates me and the most difficult aspect is having to deal with mistakes that were made by other departments
