I have a better knowledge and understanding in transport industry working with servicing trucks and repairs deliveries and collections.tracking vehicleschecking pods

I enjoy what I was doing daily,committed in everything I was doing.

The challenges at my work place
Value Logistics is one of the top 100 companies in South Africa which have been register in the JSE and being one of their employee gives me much pride and respect for working for such a big company in Southern Africa. One is always learning new things and ideas as you have to interact with so many customers/clients that sometimes give hard times due the work needs. I am very lucky as I'm somebody who easily have good understanding my people working under my supervision even those whom I do report to. I have learnt to treat each and every individual the same in the work place and do enjoy working with people who understands what you want them to do without you being involves everyday in their tasks. The most challenging aspects it during the peak period whereby one had to work long hours for the entire three months before the volumes drops back to normal again.
Pros: There are so many chances of one getting promoted as the company has a policy of looking within its internal employees if there is a vacancy
Cons: We do work long hours during peak season that is normal three month in a year.

Good working expirience

Good learning curve
Ability to work under stressful pressure without supervision. Able to meet deadlines. Teamwork. Good relationship with other Co worker even though we fight, at the end of the day we were working as the team. Assist Colleagues were required in order to meet deadlines. The most challenging thing is we have to meet deadlines under pressure even if it means to work until late.

Gained alot of experience.
Experience gained in HR, Financials, Budgets, Health & Safety.i have Built solid customer relarionships and have been a assett to my current company. I am driven hardworking and have achieved my KPI targets set. I know how to build a strong Team and how to maintain a winning culture. I enjoy possitive feedback from customers which motivates my Team and myself to axhieve and give more. Engaging daily with customer to improve productivity and to resolve operational issues.
