Working in very busy company with lot of pressure. Working with a good team with very good understanding of one oanother. Have gained a lot of experience as I'm working very close to the supervisor and warehouse management. What I enjoy most is to work independent and unsupervised.

Receptionist/admin
I work in reception so I deal with clients, handle the switchboard. I also do weekly and annual reports for truck hire for Simba nationally. I am hard worker who is willing to learn.

Excellent Learning curve
I was able to gain experience providing solutions for supply chains nationally and cross border. I was able to learn a lot about managing groups of people. I gained this experience managing up to 100 drivers and 200 crew members. I have gained experience managing a builders warehouse distribution site, Pepkor distribution site as a fleet controller. The experience I have gained with Value Logistics has been very valuable, however I feel that my learning curve has reached a plateau and wish to further my knowledge elsewhere. I also wish to relocate closer to Pretoria in order to shorten my commute every day as I work at various sites in midrand, Sandton and Iasando (Kempton Park).

Love working at a team and with people
I love working with people. I love capturing POD, I did it Value Logistics. Debtors and creditors to get paper work in order and ready for payment. Doing claim and checking the stock on the floor. Doing the diesel orders and the general ordering of stock.Getting all the statements in with invoice to capture on Sage. Debtors sending out monthly statements and following up on any outstanding payments. Making notes on the system. Capturing new application on the system.

It is fulfilling to deliver parcels on time and with no damages at all
Value Logistics has taught me to be able to work under pressure while doing my job perfectly,handling all parcels with extra care and driving vigilantly so even carrying dangerous goods,keeping to the speed limit and working as a team. The most challenging times is when you notice that you are running out of time and still have goods to be delivered. It is very fulfilling when you have delivered all parcels loaded and having all invoices signed

Good leaning and experience
Things started good everything was going well for the first 8 mouths,them things started to change randomly, we started by not getting paid like we use to without any good reason or explanations to the worker's. When we question the management we didn't get straight answers BT we continued working really hard like we use to then things got worse and worse they kept telling us that the company is broke so sometimes we won't get our pay .

Growing
I have to get up early everyday. Do my early despatch and my reports. Working with my co-workers has his ups and downs. I always enjoy my work and try to do my best.
