I have learned how to take responsibility when my manager was not around.
I have learned to work without a supervisors or managers and finish the responsibility and train my co-workers to do the job properly. I have learned to manage the account doing inbound and outbound with passion and dedication. My challenge was missing the orders and the customer needs delivery the following order or not capturing batch numbers .
Pros: No promotion,Do to my experience in the company, I use to trained some co-workers starting to work with us for some years still no recognition.
Cons: Long working hours to make sure that customer needs to receive their stock the following day

A typical work day consists of managing switch board. Taking down enquiries. Ordering of workshop supplies. And spares. Email correspondence Sales enquiries Telephonic sales Pricing Creditors Creditors recons Entering supplier invoices to system Invoicing Filing Scanning Working here is a valuable experience as you learn alot It is a very close knit company

My career started here
I love working at value logistics. my colleagues are very nice people and we get along well. the environment is also good. the problem is that they are always restructuring the departments and they are retrenching a lot of staff.

Not an ideal place to work if you are a hard worker. Not much support from management.
Not really the place to work if you take pride in your wormk. Zero support from area manager. No loyalty or thanks for carrying your entire team. No life outside work. Made to feel bad if you have family issues. Plenty growth opportunities. But client comes second after company's own system.

Cons: No life outside work, no loyalty, will throw you under the bus

Excellence
Through this journey working for such a big company like Value. I've learned how to work with different people "customer service"... How to be in control and manage your staff. I have lot of experience in transport and logistics. I was also promoted to be a buyer negotiates with supplies for better prices. Asking quotes from different supplies and come with a decision. I also do distribution national. Maintain all the POD's . Also make sure that customers being paid. Everyday I do the reports.

I worked at Value Logistics (PTY) LTD as a Receiving Controller .My duties are includes training new employees in our Department show the the standard that is required. And allocate the guys accordingly. I am doing dimensions to all the new product we receive. I have the strong background of Inventory or Stock Controller. I work as Receiving Clerk as I all the notes and POs. Capturing manually the POs of some other Clients. I am a hard worker, you can rely on me and I am a team player. I work at the system operating Company. I am well trained in ISASTOR and ISO9000.

I enjoy working at value logistic company i learn new things day in and day out
i have learned a lot under value logistics company they shaped me up now im accurate data capture because of them. they developed me i am ready made some who can work at any level able to absorb pressure. my relationship with my co-worker is very healthy.
