Good

Working at yhr library was a bitter sweet experience. Despite the fact that we worked long hours in the wee hours of the morning, it was a good experience.

Great learning experience

Been in the Laboratory and been able to assist students with day to day experiment was a great learning experience ,the most exciting part of the work was to be able to produce the products that we were supposed to produce. the most challenging aspect was been in a staff of 10 students only me been a female ,I had to work extra ,but it was amazing because I had an advantage of learning more

Learning curve

I enjoy interaction with stakeholders, to assist them to bridge the gap between current and desired environment. Continuous engagement with mentor is important to ensure feedback and learning. Finding a coach willing to share best practices.

Something about myself

I am an creative person, but not scared to work hard, especially when deadlines are to be met. I am balanced emotionally and comfortable in social setups.

Pros: I want to move back to Cape Town.
Cons: Education is very uncertain at this stage. Also, I miss the buzz of valuations.

I àm a hard worker and love working with other people most companies that I worked were very impressed with my abilities and make sure that i kept working for them

HARDWORKING AND LOOKING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO UTILIZE MAY TRAINING

I WORK IN A BUSY ENVIROMENT, I HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP MY CO-WORKERS. I HAVE LEARNED STRESS MANAGEMENT, TEAM WORK, HOW TO MEET DEALINES. I ENJOY THE RELATIONSHIP I HAVE WITH MY COLLEAGUES. DEALING WITH DIFFICULT CUSTOMERS WHO JUST WANT THEIR MONEY.

Great learning opportunity

A typical day starts of with news desk, where we discuss story ideas and content for social media platforms. Not everyday is the same and it is a very creative environment with lost to learn from professionals My relationship with my co-workers. Being the youngest in the department made favorable with everyone because I uplifted the slumber mood that was present in the department before I arrived. I enjoy the creativity, the team work/spirit and learning something new almost everyday.

Post Graduate student with no experience

I really do not have any reviews because I do not have any working experience but my relationship with my varsity mates is /was great. It was one of my most favorite moments in my life because I learnt to live on my own, get my work done and to live with people who are totally different from me.

Pros: I am independent, I am a team player, Faster learner and adapt easily to changes.
Cons: I can not say no when people ask for help and I am talk active

Excellent salaries

the UFS is a great plae to work with good salaries and benifits especially the leave days. Good governance. Health and Wellness is an important part of the university's looking after it's staff

Excellent learning curve

Working as a research assistant I learnt a lot of things about people and the working world. It taught me how to balance my work and school. It taught me how to use my skills. I better me skills in paying attention to detail and communication skills.
