Great learning experience

Been in the Laboratory and been able to assist students with day to day experiment was a great learning experience ,the most exciting part of the work was to be able to produce the products that we were supposed to produce. the most challenging aspect was been in a staff of 10 students only me been a female ,I had to work extra ,but it was amazing because I had an advantage of learning more

Learning curve

I enjoy interaction with stakeholders, to assist them to bridge the gap between current and desired environment. Continuous engagement with mentor is important to ensure feedback and learning. Finding a coach willing to share best practices.

I am able to work with people

i am a dedicated young man, i am able to work under pressure and handle the pressure. i am able to handle customers well and treat them with respect. if i get this job will commit myself to all the responsibilities given unto me. i will not allow anything to disrupt my work.

Best opportunity.

most I find it very amazing to work at UFS as it is a diverse workplace, therefore on a typical day, one thing to ensure is an appealing and positive attitude. My relationship with co-workers was good because I possess strong interpersonal skills.I have learnt to strategize and plan my work so that to give clients a proper assistance. I enjoyed learning about the different actions and behaviors of the diverse cultures. The most challenging part is raking with different behaviors of people each day and having to act professional, positive and always calm part is raking with different behaviors of people each day and having to act professional, positive and always calm.

I am continuously learning new thing and improving my level of knowledge

 Maintain and Repair computer equipment  Software Installations and Configuration  Record all Computer Equipment repairs  Establish communication with suppliers  Escalating and logging calls with manufactures  Network Installation  Interact with internal staff in providing excellent service  Monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to the request of students/staff  Installs and tests hardware and software. he laboratory, including access control.

Experience opportunity

I have learned that when working with different types of people, you should always be patient, be very conscious about what you say, when you say it I gained friendships from my coworkers and developed a sense of belonging

My previous work includes: Collection, handling and storage of samples. Running experiments, collecting data, data analysis and data management. Laboratory day to day management.

I can be an administrator or personal Assistant

I found work as my happy place because it enables me to what i like, keeping important information while communicating with different people. I have a good relationship with co-workers in a way that every team work succeed beyond the expectations. I have learnt that it is okay to listen to someone, no metter what position held because he might have important information. I enjoy solving people's problems, motivating them to perform better in the organisation. It's challenging to meet difficult people but it is fun, I feel the victory after winning.

How it is like to work at tje University of the Free State

I am a student at the University of the Free State. I have done a few demonstrations in the laboratory as well as an intership at the University and it has been a great learning experience. Everyone there wants you to succeed.

Pros: Great learning experience
Cons: I'm only a student so I have to work at a real FMCG company.

Excellent learning experience

For 4 hours a week I facilitate learning for first year students in the English classes. It's been a great learning experience for myself and for students as well as they are mostly from disadvantaged schools

Pros: Great learning opportunity for public speaking, planning and anticipating people needs even when not articulated
Cons: No opportunity for promotion or receiving company benefits
