Can learn a lot about all the products and services

Worked from 8-17h00 7 days a week. Scanning of all applications processed previous day.Stock take, banking, startup meetings, then face to face customer care for new applications or changes to services. Worked well in a team and was always willing to help. It is important to have a good relationship wit all workers. Wearing a uniform makes you feel part of the company and proud of yourself. The most challenging aspects is that we are target driven.

It is a large company ,that has a lot of growth opportunity and there is a lot to learn, however there is also a bit of culture shock since we are from different backgrounds and are accustomed to different ways of dealing with issues, however it is also advantageous since that also gives and opportunity of improving in people skills

Good

its was not good at all because they worry more about what we give to the customer instead of making they employee happy first once we happy then we can give excellent service to the customers

Pros: I'd an amazing learning curve in the company. Most of the work was green field and development was happening from scratch. Management was learning to value employees and benefits were improving
Cons: Management didn't value employees that much. They thought they could hire anyone new to get the same job done with same efficiency which was absurd.

Qualified technician

-installing ADSL and normal lines -fault finding and fixing -dealing customers -I get fulfillment when the client is happy about receiving the dialing tone and getting internet service -challenge is not getting access to the network, being chased away by customers who reported the faulty line and then realised he/she didn't plug it, climbing the ladder at 44yrs

Team Management and people development to perform

Activities are more on providing reports and presentations to EXCO on progress on performance against targets - Liaising with business units on mitigation factors on how to achieve targets. The environment is fast paced and dynamic and is relationships are meaningful and full of support as we are working towards a common goal to reach targets for all to be rewarded. What I have learned is mindfulness towards team members and develop an support so that the environment is conducive to deliver business results. I enjoy Fridays as it is more relaxed by entertaining customers

Vast 12-13years of working experience

i have learned to be very independent and use my skill to grow and also to it must benefit the company and try to do something new at all times. my challenges at the work place is to grow and not take things petty things seriously and try to avoid the gossiping and any useless things which would not benefit me , i like to work overtime if i have to, finish what i have started the same day.

LEARN NEW THINGS EVERDAY AND AS THE IS NO FORMAL TRAINING, YOU TRAIN YOUSRSELF

A typical days work includes responding to email and liasing wit clients regarding their cases or disputes . I learn different processes regarding billing or how to asssit clients. I enjoy speaking with clients as it gives me an opportunity to explore my communication skills and educate clients where need be as well as exame Telkom's weakness and strenght to aid the companies sustainability and my personal growth and the working hours are flexiable. I have an excellent relationship with my co-workers we are a team. What can be challenging isat times is the distance from work to home.

I have great experience in sales and customer services experience

I would like to know as to how much salary I really need to get since I have been working for the company for the past 6 years . We sell mobile phones, lte services ; adsl and fiber services. It’s wonderful working for the company wonderful benefits; wonderful people we working with ; it’s a wonderful team. I have learned that when ever you get to work you need to leave your problems at home since work is our other home.

Pros: A lot of people wish to work for the company and it’s not easy but with me I’m so lucky o love the Crm system which we use to process the orders
Cons: It’s long working hours but it pays at the end of the day
