Company isn't fair enough to pay us all our hours and yet we work hard labour with plenty hours. I am not happy but at the end bills have to be paid.But thru it all we gain the experience and knowledge about the retail companies and how most of the jobs are done

Tekkie Town through the eyes of an employee
Extremely fast paced work environment. Constantly busy. Managing the HR Admin of 90 Stores. Good relationships with store staff. Time Management is very important. Growth opportunities are limited. Low morale amongst employees due to low salaries.
Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Long working hours. No overtime payment. Unfair salary scales. Unrealistic workload.

Excellent Learning Curve
The working environment in such a way that I deal with 89 stores which I administrate with any HR related queries. The deadlines are very close as we only have a week to finish appointments, transfer, salary adjustments and any kind of terminations. This includes the filling, abscondment processes that we need to follow as well as sending the documents to payroll on time. It is such a very fast working environment because it's retail and everyday the is a new challenge which is a good thing but the work load does not match the salary. It is such a very nice working environment to work on as it gives one an experience and I have grown as an individual and as an employee. I have knowledge and gained more skills on how to deal with people on daily basis and that have made my communication skills better than before.

Hi my name is marcheline adams and i am looking for a new job
Tekkie town is a good company to work for but sometimes not so good.I have learned many things there ..But i do think it is time for a new challenge and that is why I did apply with you guys.
Pros: to work for this company is actually fun but sometimes it is horrible..what ever vomes my way at work i deal with it i take responsibility

Good
Good working environment And you get chances for growth. You get to learn more about customer service. You get to interact with different types of people on a daily basis. They have the best team to support you .

Very good learning curve
Thankful for the experience and everything I have learned as it's my first job however looking to move into a different field. I have grown since I started working here, thankful that potential was seen in me as I have been promoted after working as a permanent staff for 3 months.

Good working experience
Working at Tekkie Town, you come into contact with customers on a daily basis. As an employee, I assist customers in locating the required shoes they need for a specific sport or shoes they want for casual wear. Besides helping customers, I also receive and merchandise the new stock. Working at tekkie town has helped me improve my communication skills as I am with customers all the time. I also appreciate working in a team as a single person is not capable of completing tasks on their own. My time management and planning skills have improved as we are always given tasks to complete.

Hardworking and honest
I am Dorian Pockpas 21 years old.Single hardworking and honest.The experience of retail is how strong you are to be able to do everything.Relationships with co-workers start by yourself how you and handle situations. I love working with customers but l have learnt do always give your best an able to succeed your goals. The most challenging thing in workplace is to meet deadlines on time.

Poor learning curve
Busy working days helping customers parking stock cleaning the work place giving advice to my team we do team work all the time me and my team members we help each other I have leant how to work with people how to treat customers and how to be in a work place I enjoy helping customers and to make profit and reach the target the most aspects of job is falling to reach target and company losses
