Great experience

Intelligent and innovative
Team player easy going a very quick leaner. Working here is a challenge because you meet different people with totally different backgrounds and you need to be able to adapt. I am a people's person always bring joy to who ever is in my company I am sure even if I can get this job they will miss my company. I have learned a lot as my job is to serve people some people very difficult but you need to have a strategy to go around that. To learn new staff almost every time or challenges. To keep calm and absorb what ever the client throws at you

Challenging yet fulfilling
I receive case docket for investigation. I then call the complaintant to introduce myself. A meeting is set to meet in person so that questions that were not asked, are asked to identify witnesses and possible suspects. I gather all available evidence (physical and oral) and prepare for lawful arrest/s and take the file to the control public prosecutor for discussion and possible issuing of arrest warrant/s. I had a healthy work relationship with my colleagues as that taught me a lot about teamwork with different personalities. I learned that nothing is as it seems. No matter the race, religion, age, etc, people lie and special interviewing skills are needed to get the truth. I enjoyed interviewing people while they contradict themselves most of the time and by that, a case can be finalised timeously. The most challenging is part of the work was the long hours on each case and having to work with witnesses that are not cooperative.

Momentum Communication experience absorbed within the organisation.
For the past 13 years,I have been employed by the Saps.I took an opportunity to upgrade my academic skills by enrolling a BA in Communication Science. After such achievement,I have served within the SAPS initiatiing a lot of internal communication programmes for my colleagues and creating a vibrant environment by implementing member and stakeholder partnership programmes.Due to strenuous duties of my colleagues I formed part of the events cordination such a sport and recreational days,awareness campaigns and honouring members who have excelled in their duties by planning an prestigious night event of Excellence Awards. I am of great asset to a potential company due to immense experience.

Very good
I am field worker and enjoying working with criminals and community more especially in a crowd, i am working individually without a crew when I am on standby even in the midnight in a high risk areas such as Mamelodi and atteridgevill, I do my job without fear and without firearm or pepperspray. There is lots of challenges but I can adjust myself and have timing when I do my investigation.
Pros: I am on process of being promoted to warrant officer due to my Btech degree
Cons: I work day and night when on standby

Honed skills and learned new skills
In 2012 I joined the SAPS (South African Police Service) after completing a two-year basic training course at the Graff-Reinett Police Academy. I started working as a Detective Constable at different stations around the North-West Province, Prior to going for police training I worked at a call centre (Outbound) for VDM Attorneys as a debt collection agent. I also did administrative work and Sales at SANWES and EDGARS. The training and experience I gained in the SAPS has sharpened by observation skills, my communication skills, my ability to interact with people from all spheres of life as well as my ability to pay close attention to detail. I believe these skills will stand me in good stead in any career path as they allow me to adapt to any situation.

Excellent learning curve
Medical administration and investigation. Managing Ill health retirement, injury on/off duty investigations, Employee temporary incapacity determination, employees leave to be assessed for the period of absence.
