Great working culture

in a typical day, I start working at 9.I like that when I have something I need to ask a fellow colleague, the open office culture really makes people easy to approach. I have learnt that its not only how good you are at the actual work, but your relationship with colleagues and being able to communicate your wins without sounding corky can really make or break your corporate career. I enjoy the casualness of the culture and lack of hierarchies. The most challenging aspects of my job is my targets depending on people delivering their work on time.

Great opportunity for career growth

It is a very interesting environment, friendly staff. We get to be busy so no time to sleepy of me bored. I have learnt to manage working under pressure. And adhere to deadline. Everyday you expect something new and different it is unpredictable so you have to stay on full alert which I found challenging. But I enjoyed working with people that are enthusiastic, passionate and not prone to mediocrity.

Great environment for learning and career growth

This company has a wide Logistics network, it is a great platform to learn how inter department Co function in the Logistics process. You learn how each department plays a vital role in the quality of products that go out to consumers, the integration of departments which are production, sales, logistics and customer service is exceptional.

Great working experience. exposure to industry experts

We go out to the fields, meet farmers go through their farms and try to see how the farms is performing. Workplace environment is excellent. I have learnt how to grow barley

Your relationship with co-workers

We need to strive to always have postive interactions in the workplace because it can improve teamwork as well collaboration. This will result in a positive influence of staff turnover. Retention of jobs will be longer as job satisfaction and organizational committment when co-workers support each other.

Pros: being affiliated to work for a dynamic global organisation is a benefit on its own. Very challenging and goal driven company that motivates employees to learn and to grow. Ensure that all employees receive the necessary coaching and training to effectively execute their roles. Safety is key, and all employees must adhere.
Cons: Promotions not all employees are afforded

Working at SAB.

Fantastic corporation to work with, but not enough offered that wants to make you loyal to the company on the long term. Typical work day can average from a normal 9 hr shift to long hours. One great perk was having to work with one of the best set of co workers I have ever had in my department. Working with SAB has taught me how to adapt in a cut throat environment, and to enjoy the challenge.

Pros: Great name to have on your CV
Cons: You WILL feel unappreciated

Team work

The company offer a great deal of career growth. Team work is at the heart of the company. A regular day requires a great deal of preparation as 1 is expected to deal with clients with diligence.

Great experience, when working as a team you always win

Everday a the number of samples collected and and recieved differs but the number of working hours remains the same, this has taught me to plan my work accordingly and do preparations as early as possible, my colleagues celebrate each and every achievement fr keeping your work area clean to raising the most safety incident observations. This has helped boost my confidence. The positive energy around the laboratory is bound to make everyday a productive day.

Pros: You can working for any department since all the company information is shared amongst everyone.
Cons: Too much work and so little time, which requires you to stay longer unpaid hours.

Dynamic Operation

Dynamic Operation based on organised structure, interaction with four sales teams, centralised planning and management of distribution teams plus overseeing and aligning with warehousing, plus management of the service providers. Accountability for expenditure on monthly basis aligned to KPIs and business objectives.
