Excellent learning curve, but the traveling was too much over a 1000km a week
The basic salary was R11000, plus car allowance R4500 and combined was R13000. Which was not enough to cover the repairs of the vehicle and not fair for the traveling I was doing. It was challeng everyday with traveling but I certainly enjoyed doing my job as it was always on point. Working with my manager was not easy cause she was not always cluedup with everything and she depended on her employees with alot of things. Same as I tought her alot when she first came in the company.
Pros: I had a great opportunity of promotion from sales consultant to field market
Cons: Driving long distance sometimes had to drive out from 5am came back 8pm

Excellent learning
Smollan its a big company in shopping retails..and its a company where everyone works very hard.Working at smollan was an opportunity to me because i have learned so much about retails

Inspiring others through knowledge transfer
I thoroughly enjoy working and uplifting members in the team. I enjoy knowledge transfer and gaining insight into my fellow employees work. A typical work day includes brain storming, working with communication based projects. I enjoy teaching my colleagues design work and mentoring. The challenges i face are poor briefing which is why i create job templates to avoid confusion.

I aoplied for an internship in my field of study and trained for 24 months.
I am with my current company for plus 4 years. What a journey it was. I started as a merchandiser and after 1 year I relieved our sales support as she was promoted to admin and whiles the company recruited a new sales support I applied for my internship. Working the various roles that I did was amazing as I learned and got experienced in the FMCG Field.
Pros: working with staff and be able to solve their stories
Cons: occasionally working when your supposed to be off

Good place to work at
I enjoy challenges that I face day to day, which is normal in an fmcg environment. I have 34 staff that report to me. ( 13 merchandisers, 20 fieldmarketer and 1 sales rep). I enjoy negotiating deals and forward share with store managers. I usually get what I want because of relationships with management at stores. I have a good team that know what I expect of them and they deliver.
Pros: Great learning experience and working enviroment
Cons: Staffing issues ( enquiries and disciplinary action for under performing staff takes up a lot of time

Am a fast learning person
i am person who loves to work with computer cause i a have to many skills in it.like technical skills and microsoft ms word,excel,power pointer,data base and outlook. i have a good communication and customer relationship in order to grow the sales of the company. crating documentation and preparing financial statement it will be a bigger part of my career i wanna grow within it.
Pros: it will be a great opportunity to get an internship or position that is relevant to my qualification
Cons: am willing to work overtimes if is required

Im Hungry for success
Nice working environment with good people and extraordinary attitude,so to be surrounded by such good people has made me to be more friendly and to work nicely with clients and customer service,since we are in an environment we're we deal with customers.I enjoy the fact that weekly we play mind games challenging other teams in the building and that's makes an individual to be an open minded thinker,and improve our IQ skills.
