Deadline-driven with high productivity

The best features of freelancing is that I work to deadline on a brief, i complete the assignment in my own time, whether it is at 3pm or 3am! I love working on my own, but sometimes I miss the opportunity to sound ideas and creative concepts off others. The kind of scenario that working in a traditional office allows for.

Pros: Independence; working at my own pace and in my own private space
Cons: Unstable income

Working for myself is great. My boss is the best!

Except that he always talks at the same time I talk, and then we both talk to ourselves. I can work my own hours, but often that means working late! Coffee is free too.

Pros: Great opportunity as I can promote myself.
Cons: Not always sure when to stop working.

My company is a fitness and nutrition solutions company, focused on improving and promoting a healthy lifestyle. We make alternative healthy products that can be consumed on a daily basis. Examples include: I make protein bars and seed bars and supply them to juice bars and cafés. I also sell sports supplements and gym apparel.

Passion for training and developing people.

As an Independent Skills Development Officer I do freelance facilitation, assessment, moderation and consultancy to my clients. Currently I specialise more in learnership & short courses e.g. Business Admin & Entrepreneurship & Management etc. I enjoy the interaction with all my clients the most and have learnt that rendering excellent customer service is of utmost important to achieve company/personal goals for all parties involved. The most challenging aspect of my job is to meet client expectations on short notice and with limited resources. But I must admit that I enjoy it the most because it stretches my abilities & skills. Especially after client satisfaction has been achieved.

Excellent learning experience

Face to face client consultation. Immediate satisfaction with clients as it is service based. Good learning experience. Hands on position. Learn new things everyday.
