Working behind the bar

As a bartender I enjoy every second behind the bar and working with a solid team that will b highly motivated through out the shift and making sure each drink that is sent out must be made according to spec

Have had the opportunity to work with well known design houses on big projects

In a typical work day i work mostly from home. I have a number of clients all over Joburg who I assist on current projects. Because I am self-employed I don't have co-workers but I often have to engage with new clients on new projects. I have learnt quiet a bit being self-employed as I have the opportunity to work with well known design houses on big projects varying from corporate to retail to hospitality to residential design. I enjoy this industry as it allows me to be creative and be myself. It is not always easy to please everyone so trying to create an interior space that makes everyone happy is challenging.

Pros: lots of exposure to different design diciplines
Cons: my months are not very consistant

Work experience and willing to acquire more knowledge and skill. Very versatile.

I spend a lot of time editing and managing footage from 9 to 5. Sometimes doing overtime until about 7pm. My relationship with co workers is generally good. However, the stress levels here are high because of demands, workload and deadlines. I have learned to set my boundaries more and know my worth and what I bring to a company, and not sell myself short. What I enjoy the most is being on set and meeting and talking to people. I don't mind sitting int he office, but I can't stand being in one for too long. I have spent too many hours there and haven't maximized my potential. The most challenging aspects of my job is the workload and long hours and stress levels among co workers. I like and work better in peaceful enviornments. I will deliver the work at the end of the day, and it will be worth it.

Excellent learning curve and experience in dealing with different people.

I love working with people. I enjoy interacting with other staff members. I have grown in customer relations and I am empowered by attending the SA host course, and all the team building courses that have improved my interacting skills with the co workers and helped me to understand people and work well and productively in a multi cultural environment.

Energetic and hardworking person

Am energetic and hardworking person and fast learner I adjust so quick to New people or colleagues. I like working with lots of group of people that I enjoy a lot, I like challenges and opportunities,if I see any opportunity I grap it and run with it.

Pros: I like opportunity and when it comes I grap it and run with it, being promoted is the great thing am dreaming about everyday but it comes to those who work hard and am ready for the challenge of working harder.
Cons: I can also adjust on long working hours and working under pressure

Deadline driven and Performance excellence dedicated

Deadline driven. Interpersonal interaction with employees and management alike. Full financial function: Creditors, Debtors, Cashbook, Revenue, Stock Monthly Management packs for board meetings Payroll recon and payments AFS for audits and management. VAT and PAYE reports.

Pros: Deadline driven, loyal, consistent
Cons: Don't like surprises/or to be ill-informed
