Great work to be learned
maintenance on motors ,panels and attend breakdowns on plant machinary . cable and ac drives installation ,160 kva. transformers maintain. fault finding on plc siemens. working on 15 ton. melting furnaces

Good learning curve
Please see my attached CV for application on Electrician. I am a go getter ,able to go extra miles when i am given a job.very enthusiasm person. If i would be given an opportunity at your work place.i will make sure i perform it to the best of my ability.

Great opportunity for development but reaching its limits.
I have a great career at my current employer. Had opportunities across all disciplines. In engineer I was involved with managing projects, managing service departments which include site elctrical reticulation , would liase with Eskom on quality of supply and cobtracts, and lately (2016) included the responsibility to implement a maintenance management system. Also held a general management position responsible for production, engineer & maintenance, sales, quality, and budgets and strategies. I have good relationship with co-workers and direct reports. Most challenging is the highly reactive culture and changing towards a preventive approach to maintenace . What I enjoy is to be able to add value to the organization. All the challenges can be overcome as long as one feels you can add value.
Pros: Opportunity for improvement in efficiency of plants.
Cons: Lack the organizational culture to drive strategies including transition to a preventive maintenace culture.

When i was thrown into the shifts and had to learn the plant as quick as possible
I work for one of the biggest manufacturing companies in Africa. The atmosphere is always healthy because of the good relationship among us workers and the management. The challenge I meet almost everyday is when there is two breakdowns at the same time because I run the shift as a lone millwright with one fitter but it's fun because challenges help me grow.

Job Describtion -Able to operate a portable angle grinder; weld a fillet, buT-joint and corner joint -Use of a radius bar, portable straight line cutter, hands tools and special platers tools -Welding with an OXY-ACETYLENE, braze a lap joint, punch and shearing machine. -Operate a GUILLOTINE shearing and drilling machine.Perform safe work practice. working for log hours without rest nor tea time and night shifts are some of the typical work days any employee does not like nor love. but overall i enjoy my work Interpersonal skills-Able to put together a group during group projects Communication skills-Ability to communicate and adapt quickly to new environment.

GREAT LEARNING OPPORTUNITY
Having worked for so many years stipulated in the CV, I an enjoying working with people daily and solving problems with my team and accommodating different levels of thinking capacity. challenges are always there and will forever be there for us to work through them. i believe this is what we have been employed for. the most challenging part of this job is the complexity of parameters which you somehow have to looked to take informed decisions. the other challenge is that in most cases you have to come up with strategies of selling new ideas to employees which have been doing something for over a certain period.
Pros: great opportunity for technical exposure and management skills at the same time
Cons: need to be honest all the time. do not take side even if u have to protect one of your senior personel e.g your manager. its about the company not your friendship while killing the company slowly.

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE
What i do on daily basis i take minutes for meetings update spreadsheet capture the measurements report for Plant wheel department capture inspections reports i work with metallurgists what i have learnt is a lot from training department doing recruitment seating on interviews, making follow ups with merSETA ,TETA and CHIETA about the the learning programme happening within the company by employees aswell as booking retraining of forklift and crane. I enjoy working with people sharing different views updating them with their next training's and classes and the most challenge is when the children of employees applied for learnership as we cannot take all of them and they come to ask why their children are not chosen.
