IT IS NICE TO WORK FOR SANTAM BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE MONEY
MY JOB ITS NICE BECAUSE I AM GAINING EXPERIENCE EVERYDAY AND MY COR WORKERS THE ARE VERY NICE AND THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL INCLUDING MY MANAGER AND THEY ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE ALSO BUT MONEY IS THE ISSUE OTHERWISE OTHER THAN THAT I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WERE ARE WORKING AT THE MOMENT
Pros: IT IS NICE BECAUSE I HAVE GAINED A LOT OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE AND THE ARE HAVING A LOT OF OPPORTUNITIES WERE THRY TEACH YOU ABOUT THE COMPANY BUT THE PROBLEM IS MONEY
Cons: TH ENVIROMNENT ITS OK I MIGHT SOUND AS IF I AM SAYING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER BUT I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WORKING FOR SANTAM ITS BEEN A GREAT PLEASUER WORKING FOR SUCH COMPANY AS I SAID BEFORE THE PROBLEM IS THE MONEY

Wealth of knowledge and a real idea pool. Plenty of talented and experienced staff.
Working hard is rarely rewarded. Lack of growth opportunities no matter how well you have performed (employee of the year 2016). Excellent staff to work with and for, however a very flat structure leaves you in 1 position for up to 10 years (some staff have had same roles for over 20). Learning to work in a massive corporate has given such insight to the workings of a big company and the many advantages(and pitfalls) of such. Team morale was excellent with a never say attitude that made you look forward to each day.
Pros: Fantastic learning opportunities, the biggest insurer in the country
Cons: not much room for growth.

A true exposure to the insights and learning of an insurance giant
I believe that there are amazing characteristics of Santam and that they are strong leaders in the insurance industry I have gained solid insights into the industry. I have grown from the brokerage experience into the insurer frame and gained a solid balance in the insurance industry there are however areas where i would like to see things happen faster in reaction to innovation and opportunities.

The favoritism is real
i am really out of wordsand unhappy with the treatmeent of stuff here as it now looks like you need to be a certain religion to be recognised let alone treated fairly as an employee. ive heard of teachers pets being only in school however now bossespets have become fashionable

Great Exposure
A typical work day is working 8 -10 hours depending on the work flow of the day and striving to meet my target daily. Above all, my motivation on a daily is to do better than yesterday and prove to myself that each day I wake up, a better person. My relations with coworkers starts with sending or receiving a positive motivational message, helping each other throughout the day. This has taught me that working with a team lessens the load of work and it is always a relief to know that when one struggles another can assist and visa versa. As a mother, I mostly enjoy spending time with family. Working with externals gives a lot of pressure on an individual, meeting target and producing quality work can be challenging because you do not only represent the yourself as an individual but the company however, it is doable.
Pros: Great exposure to solving problems internal and external parties, being a team player and working under pressure

Work/life balance, good pay and good learning curve
Nice working environment, colleagues are family, family and health comes first. Work is easy at times but also very tough and requires lots of overtime. Performance isn't measured well either, very demotivating

New adventure
It is a wonderful company fillies with lots of friendly, helpful people. I have learned to deal with alot of different personalities which I enjoy the most. The most challenging is the compliance of different properties as well as the the relationship managers and technical managers.
