JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES  Fili plan o File plan implementation / updating of the spreadsheet. o Amendments. o Records clean-up. o Update register of files opened / do regular visits/ spot checks. o Regional update & queries. o Courier. o Metrofile (bookings etc.). o Index files for offsite. o Resolve finding and queries. o Assist department with filling in terms of new file plan.  Documents service o Arrange off-site storage booking (metrofile). o Do department visits and assessment. o Record all incoming mail on the spreadsheet. o Date stamp all correspondence received. o Process all legal documents; writs, summonses, courts notice, filling notices, notice of taxation, PAIA. o Prepare and scan document and put scanning stamp for acknowledgment. o Claim view. (All incoming mail). o Internal mail delivery. o Assist with documents/file retrieval

daily work - record of file contents done for medical experts and assessors, valid returns from finance( number of returns), number of calls made to claimants requesting outstanding documents and information and consult with claimants, Duplicate checks done on all files, records of BIF's done, Acceptances / payments sent to finance office as requested by officer, number of new files completed. work well with my team and we all have same vision I have learnt that each and every file I touch represent one victim out the in the office working with well with community most people out there put hope in you always so every time you at work you have to be efficient every time

A seasoned leader and manager in the ICT industry

I have Learnt a lot at RAF more especially in the leadership role. The Colleagues are good people however lack inspiration. Senior Management does not inspire confidence. There is a great learnership programme however the organization fails to harness the staff knowledge.

High performance culture

I interact with fellow c suite Executives to assist them with areas of compliance and risk. I assist the CEO with queries. These are almost daily activites. My organisation is a HPO and therefore working here is exhilarating and rewarding as the role is wuite challenging.

Pros: HPO, great environment, strategic role
Cons: Given its a parastatal there is no scope for growth as positions are advertised and you would need to apply
