Typical day involves meetings where operational feedback is given and where necessary action/decision be taken regarding the closure of outstanding work shortcomings or non compliance. Playing an advising role to the management team as well as project/engineering/contractors relating regulatory and compliance aspects. Also advising and giving support on changes of legislation. Development or establishment of of policies. Working with different individuals you learn what they are doing and where do you fit in. Learned that core business always push work without considering compliance. My presence is to advise where they don't know and put a stop where there's ignorance. Enjoy everyday challenges in the workplace. The most challenging part is working with contractors where you find employees are not skilled, also unsafe behaviors and acts conducted by employees.

Cons: Management of contractors, they like to ignore compliance.

N5 certificate, trade test ,mechanical fitter
I am a smart working person and dedicated qualified mechanical fitter with a trade test and three(3) years’ experience ,I trade tested at colliery training college and I did all my seven jobs per day . I own N5 in mechanical engineering and currently working as a lecture at advisor progressive college lecturing mechanical engineering subject, possessing a good team spirit and leadership skills, vastly adaptive to new environment, I do house plan design and fine art, printing and painting as part time job, I can be able to create my own space and as well plenty of time for my job, am willing to be utilized among the department that constitute the company in broad ,I would like to see myself someday being part of the company and working hard with you

The relationship that i have with my co-workers the way people are so friendly among each other. The culture with in the whole organisation is very welcoming. i have learned lots of things being in this company but i feel like I've over staid i believe its time for a change.

Rand Water is the largest water board in Africa
The current employer is very professional and there is room of career growth. However, I need a permanent job because i don't get benefits like permanent employees (medical aid,Provident fund and bonuses)
