Artisan trainee plumber
My current position is artisan trainee plumber, I'm employed by rand water but I did my practicals at govan mbeki municipality at secunda.. Im done with my practicals, waiting for training center to book for me to do my trade test. I can appreciate to work for your company, I'm hard working guy and a team leader..I learn fast and always admire to learn more if I get opportunity to do that. Municipality taught me how to work as group and different ages, to respect each other. How to work as at team and to share ideas at site to make work simple..

A very broad experience and learning curve
Well respected and presented company. One of the most advanced in providing skills to employees as well as development and growth within the forum. There are apprenticeship opportunities for the water treatment that relates to the daily activities carried out on site. The overall experience is overwhelming to start with as a newly student recruit pursuing a career in the water sector.

N5 certificate, trade test ,mechanical fitter
I am a smart working person and dedicated qualified mechanical fitter with a trade test and three(3) years’ experience ,I trade tested at colliery training college and I did all my seven jobs per day . I own N5 in mechanical engineering and currently working as a lecture at advisor progressive college lecturing mechanical engineering subject, possessing a good team spirit and leadership skills, vastly adaptive to new environment, I do house plan design and fine art, printing and painting as part time job, I can be able to create my own space and as well plenty of time for my job, am willing to be utilized among the department that constitute the company in broad ,I would like to see myself someday being part of the company and working hard with you

Excellent learning opportunity
I worked on a contract bases on a Rand Water project in Johannesburg.my job description is a health and Safety Officer.i have learnt a lot about safety in the time that I was there .i am currently looking for looking for a job in health and Safety The project that I was on was very challenging as there were different tasks everyday.

Enjoy working with others
Working in my company has been very beneficial, I have learned a lot of things regarding electricity. I have gained more experience and realised that it is better working in groups than individually. I have come across many challenges but also learned to overcome them.
Pros: Learning from others and respecting one another.
Cons: Never came across any disadvantage, because of loving the job.

Excellent learning invironment
RW is a good working environment for starters, It made me this confidence person that I am today. I am able to face any challenge coming my way. very excellent relationship with the workers/Team members management treat employees with respect irrespective of their positions. I was able to attend every training that was is my PDP every financial year, such as cisco, project management, My IT Degree I have enjoyed being given the opportunities to Handle one of the Randwater IT's biggest project which is the Cisco Refresh and the SAN project Most challenging aspects is the budget. we get limited to being exposed to some of the things due to financial contrains.

I see myself reaching the stars because of my abitious state of mind
Starting new things it's great. It motivate and groom a person. As I'm will and hoping to move on new things and to work to another field. I'm a team worker. Things that I can see as challenge is to do the work that you didn't get any training or when there is no instruction form to follow. To me it's a challenge because the struggle of working on it will cost the company and waste time.
