Rand Water Reviews

Excellent learning curve

This pro-engineering environment is very challenging as well as exciting. With proper planning and good relations with all colleagues from senior to junior, one is able to achieve over and above what is expected. What I enjoy the most, is the opportunity to work with all personnel and seeing people heading to advises that I give. Also as I work across the engineering division I learn new things everyday, that makes it more exciting.

Pros: Exposure to all stages/windows within the division.
Cons: slim chances for promotion

L learnt a lot about plumbing

I Am doing plumbing training with rand water, as I did 6 months theory am looking for any company that can help me with practicals. I don't demand anything from the company that able to help me since am getting stipent from rand water board ( 2500pm). What I really need from the company that willing to help me it is training and more work. I am willing to commit and help the company to grow without any demand.

Pros: still training

A very broad experience and learning curve

Well respected and presented company. One of the most advanced in providing skills to employees as well as development and growth within the forum. There are apprenticeship opportunities for the water treatment that relates to the daily activities carried out on site. The overall experience is overwhelming to start with as a newly student recruit pursuing a career in the water sector.

Pros: Great opportunity
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent learning curve for me.

my typical work day consist of venue bookings, booking meetings, attending to emails, screening calls, minute taking etc. I have an excellent relationship with my co-workers and we get along well. I believe in team work. I have learnt the importance of integrity, partnership, loyalty and humanity. The most challenging aspect of my job is probably time management.

Pros: Benefits that the company is offering, example, pension fund, medical aid, incentive, 13th cheque
Cons: no growth
