Good working environment

Good working environment. You get to meet lot of different people and learn different things because you are based on 1 area. You learn how to handle difficult customers and issue arriving at that time.

i am 31 years old,self independent and hard working individual,i have obtained my metric certificate in 2007,and started tertiary in 2009 studying marketing management and i completed the qualification in 2013 while i was working at rage distribution as a sales assistant,i then worked as a sales consultant at avbob mutual in 2016 while i was studying B.tech in business administration and will be awarded my qualification in 2019 April,currently i am unemployed and job hunting.

I love to work as a team, because together everyone achieves more

Customer service is one of my strong aspects and I love to work with clients. I am a hard worker and I am dedicated to my job. I'm punctual and committed to my job. I love to go the extra mile for the customer to keep the customers happy. Anything to keep the customer happy. Team work is very important, as to work with a team, everyone achieves more. Following instructions is one of the most important things

Excellent for learning and growing experience

-Had an excellent relationship with former co-worker. -Have learnt to engage with most types of customers. -Enjoyed my work and making sales to reach my targets and going an extra mile -Challenging aspect for me was not having enough/what customers want. -On my typical day, would change give a new look to the displays attract new and passing customers/ re merchandise.

Needing to do more.

My responsibilities include the managing of local region distribution to all brand name stores. This involves aliasing with the stock control, merchandising and marketing departments to ensure the correct lines are being issued to store level as well as insure store capacity. My relationship with the staff who report directly to me is good and growing each day. I spend time to train each team as the majority of them are still new in their positions as well. In my time at Rage I have learnt new was of stock management and allocations of stocks per region. The most challenging part of my job is the communication between my department in regards to the correct information being laid down. Often i have received the wrong information and this resulted in time wasted in areas where the incorrect stock has been prepared. OHS is also a big issue in the work place and the company does not follow due process in ensuring standards are met.

Excellent management experience

I am currently working at Rage as the store MANAGER I 've een working with the customer for 12 years now.i 've learnt how to manage people how to meets target and how to communicate with our customers...we have peak hours and they are very challenging as you have to deal with difficult customers and to reach targets as well.but at the end it a tunnel it is an awesome experience to work in this company

Great exposure

I have learnt a lot at my current employer but I know in order for me to grow within my career change is required and development is needed. I have a lot working in the retail environment and the shop fitting environment now it’s time to go back to the what I want to learn and develop my skill in. My day to day is managing the everyday task and managing a team of 6 construction/shopfitting teams and four people with the department. I enjoy the amount of stuff you learn and the varies method of solving a problem. The most Challenging aspects is deal with people who don’t respect what you do.

Good way to interact with different individuals

I like the fact that in retail theres always customer service and yoh meet different type of people on a daily basis. The workers are team builders and they encourage one to work even harder. I've learnt that being in this type of environment teaches you a lot about attitude and respect for others. The thing I enjoy most is that you are always considered when a person needs help or needs to put on a shoes or something and it brings one closer to a greater aspect of viewing life. What I found the most challenging was that sometimes its not so easy reaching the daily targets as they sometimes affect the monthly targets but all that's needed is hard work everyday and self determination that's also includes team work as a whole.
