Very hectic and fast paced
Highly pressured environment where every minute counts and every rand spent is critical to maximize the return. Very strong on development and growing people. Very strong culture - People are generally good to work with

Great working and meeting new people, communication skills have drastically become better
i go out to the field looking for clients to give financial advice to with regards to life covers, funeral benefits, investments, disability and retirement. my colleagues and i work well together and often team up for presentation purposes. i have learnt to be patient and not put all my eggs in one basket, and to not depend solely on a client who promised to meet up with me for business. i enjoy meeting new people and finding out what is most important to them. the most challenging aspect has to be convincing the client to agree to the advice i give them.

I had a wonderfull expierence at Old Murual I have learned alot in 4 years.
I loved my job just to work with clients and to be able to help people what I love to do. I always say just be positive think the impossible and you will do the possible. I loved my co-workers if they needed me I was always there to help even if it was just to built confidence. The most challenging of my job was to keep my clients satisfied and happy and they never complaint about anything I just have that softness in me to keep them calm and happy.

Excellent learning curve
Recently withdrew from the role of a Financial Adviser at Old Mutual. I have also worked as a service and accounts specialist and White Belt Consultant at ABSA in the Vehicle Finance Department. I feel I would be an ideal candidate for a role in the financial services industry given the record of extensive experience gained in this particular sector in the pursuit of a permanent role in the Investment field. Not only will this help me thrive, but it will also help steer an already on-going endeavour toward refining my skills and abilities for consistency in delivering services. I have 9 years’ experience in the service industry cultivating relationships with clients that I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with on a daily basis and roughly 4 years anchoring Project Management opportunities where I worked closely with different individuals in the quest of running successful projects.
