Production management and KPI

I am currently a project engineer. I have 6 years of Production Management and my role was a Production Supervisor and have been leading a group of 32 people that operates our production equipment lines. Attending of production meetings daily, and presentations related to production. Been involved in various projects to optimize plant efficiency. I have good relationship with my team and teamwork is key. I have learnt and gained a lot of skills in people's management and have developed in various management styles. Have enjoyed the projects related to TPM.

Excellent Place to learn and grow

This jon requires a good understanding of how production works and the roll of supply chain to enhance the speed of the product to the market place. IT has become an integral part of production and reducing the number of steps or process to the end product, Coming up with innovative ways of increasing efficiency and reducing waste is a big part to make the product more affordable to the consumer Marketing requires effective tools to reach out to the consumer and have a better understanding of consumer needs The right product and the right place and at the right place puts you ahead of the curve to competitors. Our Job entails understand all departmental needs , from sales teams tools they need to use , technical and production, HR hiring tools to find the right candidates with the right attitude and attributes to demand and supply planners , mostly the capturing of invoices and processing and receipt of payments to enable acccurate Finacial reporting.

Pros: Great study packages to enhance your skill set
Cons: It’s a demanding environment to manage and reduce cost by coming up with cost effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity

Excellent working enviorement

i am currently working as a Services Manager at Nestle and my day to day job is awesome. I am at Nestle for the past 8 years and not a day goes by that i regret having to work with such vibrant and smart people . My time has come too seek new grounds and have a more challanging job . I am up for any challange and would be greatful to seek employment within any company

Drivers call agent

I I enjoy working for my company, the team I work with, we have a great working bond. We deal with customer refusal and queries every day. When stock is delivered at our customers and there are any back door issues the drivers contact us to sort out the issue, refusals, uplifts not done by the rep. I have a good relationship with my Co-workers, office based and reps, management. I have learnt how to resolve issue in a timeless manner, dealing with difficult customers. 8 enjoy the challenge everyday, as it is the same environment, but each day has it own en new challenges.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion, working in your communications skills
Cons: Stressfull environment, dealing with high value refusals.

Good learning and teaching

We worked as a team It was nice we used to help each other if someone had a problem. We used to learn other job.I also have a driver's license, basic computer. I like to communicat with all levels.l enjoy working long hours. Overtime, weekend and standby. I physical fitness and health

Excellent training ground

Nestle is a good company to work for especially if you are willing to learn. My typical work day: I spend most of my time coaching and training the operators, developing work procedures, identify opportunities of continuous improvement in quality and Food safety. In my position having a good working relationship with all the departments especially supplier chain, engineering and production is important. Nestle is stringent when it comes to quality and food safety, I have gain experience i implementing standards such as FSSC 22000 and maintain the system after it has been implemented. I enjoy the challenge that comes with my position, I am never bored because there's always something new to be implemented. The challenge is getting a buy in when there's something new to be implemented.

Cons: Spreading the Quality intent at ground level by engaging them regularly.

Very hands on type of a person, I engage and energize the team to achieve sustainable results, I believe in building autonomy. I have vast experience in processing and high packaging equipment, handling of investments project, management of maintenance staff and contractors.

Current Work Experience

I have learned a great deal about Digital Marketing through being immersed in the Nestle graduate program, I have since been promoted to a permanent position that heads up eBusiness for the Food and Dairy category. I now manage and execute global projects for our market ESAR (East and South african Region). This means excessive global alignment and localisation where digital and ecommerce are involved. Currently I manage and oversee digital strategies across my category brands with creative and communication agencies on a daily basis. Monthly reports for all digital touchpoints are analysed to inform how we proceed with digital comms, as agile as we can. Personalisation, Online Consumer Journeys, Search and eRetailer understanding is key to my KPIs.

Great exposure to cooperate industry

As this was my first ever job,it was a great experience with regards to the amount of exposure to the food industry amongst other things. Nestle gave me the opportunoity to learn a lot of things concerning quality of food and the importance of ensuring optimum nutritional standards in food and beverages
