Nestle Reviews

Excellent learning and experience

I came to work for nestle with no experience but they took me in and tought me how to work,it was a great experience and that made me to enjoy every day at my work place. Manager's are so friendly right to the regional manager. My co-workers are noble and willing to help with any hurdle I may be facing. I gained a lot of working experience how to deal with customers of all kinds. What I enjoy the most is that they're trustworthy when it comes to a pay day and to meet our requirements and to make our work environment safe.the most challenging part is to deal with the store managers because they can be hard to deal with at times.

Pros: Great opportunities of promotions
Cons: Normal working hours

Experienced in Key Account Management, in the FMCG Space

Hi, I am an highly motivated individual with a lot of experience in sales and FMCG. I worked for Nestle as a KAM and also category. I have a passion for sales and implemented projects e.g. Agents and Operations in channels were there were no calls on stores, no merchandises. I grew my current customer base by 18% in the last fiscal year. I worked in Shopper Marketing or Category development of which I gained a lot of experience. In the above role I have implemented plans within the various channels. I have good negotiation and selling skills.I am involved in the forecasting process. Most importantly I have strong customer relationship building abilities. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards Jordan 0833014128

Pros: Lot opportunity for Growth
Cons: Good work and family time hours

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Nestle is a great company to work for, you meet people with different cultures, i have learned the values and learned a lot, i sometimes work long hours even weekends to catch up with your work or project that you are involve in turn to make you work over the weekends for testing purposes. I enjoy waking up in the morning to make a difference to the people i work with or the customer, internal and external and to see them appreciating the little things i do for them everyday. I go extramiles if i have to , i enjoy learning new things, i enjoy the projects i do especially the one to do with compliancy as i know people take compliancy very seriously in our work enviroment. i have learned to be more cautious on the things i do even when i'm home, costs, safety and go see think and do (GSTD) i use it .

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: long working hours and work load

I work under pressure because I run shift I am the only fitter on my shift so I have to make sure the machines are running. I love my job. When I came to Nestle I knew nothing about FMCG because I came froom Engineering company. I knew nothing about mono pumps, waukesha pumps, rotary valves, conveyors, augers, seamers, collators, labellers, fillers, cappers, steam and mixers. I have learnt a lot at nestle.

Pros: Currently studying to get better opportunities

Great involvement brings sense of being part of the company

Excellent learning curve to Quality management syatems. Great challenging environment of supportive people and not so supportive. I get a great opportunity of working within a team and independently. Trouble shooting and interacting with the suppliers when the need arise makes my day challenging enough to go home with a smile when I achieve great results. The involvement with production operators when performing investigations around the product being out of norm is so rewarding when positive results are achieved. Providing GLP, Environmental and Lab safety training is part of what I love most. When it comes to incident investigations I love it when we come to a point of a root cause nd preventative action. Being part of the Internal Auditing team makes me take ownership of my company.

Pros: Great potential to grow
Cons: Having to lead people who worked for years in a company trying not to abide to the system

Being me in an foreign environment

Day and night shift, day shift start at 6am to 3pm, night shift 9pm to 6am, starting with daily meeting (what were our challenges on previous shifts and how can we tackle them), good and health relationship with my coworkers, I was disorganized first, wanting to solve all the issue the same time but I was instructed to organise the issues and to begin with majors and end with the smaller one, I love job and I gave my all, I was promoted twice within a period of one year. Respecting people was working with elderly people, they taught me every thing, they push for my first promotion.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion since there are many departments
Cons: Long working hours
