Nedbank Ltd Reviews

Good working environment

I deal with clients accounts, monitoring and looking for any suspicious transactions. Call the client for more information needed to be updated. Drafting clients portfolio of evidence. Giving feedback to my superiors on each client I worked on. Sending out letters to unreachable clients, mostly invalid contact numbers.

Pros: Great growth opportunity
Cons: Too much pressure and be alert at all times. No mistakes

Salary review

works well with co-workers. Lack of planning. Enjoys being challenged in my current environment. Believe that the organisation can release most of the generation close to retirement in order to create job opportunities for youth with fresh mind set. This will also reflect organisational citizenship commitments to eliminate high unemployment rate currently experienced in the country

Pros: Due to restructuring, minimal opportunities
Cons: Normal hours

Being part of an on-going improved team who constantly look for areas of improving

Awesome caring environment backed with people with years of experience within the industry. Daily reports are drawn to improve and enable credit management and efficiencies. The most enjoyment is drawn when worked on a complex structure and amidst this, provide a solution to the client which benefit both parties, namely the client and Bank. Learning each day insightful knowledge of various industries, which contribute to one's experience.

Pros: Caring working environment.
Cons: No Promotion opportunities.

Excellent

I work with various stakeholders who are associated with different banking products. I am currently working on a CRM D365 project with many external stakeholder i.e. Microsoft. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers because i am an easy going person, flexible and dependable. I have just completed an advanced BA diploma through FTI and was mind blowing, i enjoyed the course, i have learnt so much and grew as a BA, i also enjoyed the collaboration with my fellow classmates. I love to read and travel, i love the outdoors. The most challenging aspects of the job is when things dont pan out the way you want it i.e. if the projects are cancelled/stopped due to funding, also when stakeholders delay in the deployment of projects

Pros: Work, life, balance
Cons: I have been in this company for 17 years now -it time for a change

Experience gathered was immensely

I used to work in a team with a sales support, credit analyst and credit manager allocated to our team. It was a sales team which I enjoyed particularly writing applications and preparing motivations for my credit applications.

Pros: Good company to work for
Cons: Current management does not value good employees

Fantastic brand

day starts with email attendance to plan accordingly. Often attend check in meetings to discuss the brief for the week ahead as well as debrief of what execution took place on the previous week's work. Absolutely enjoy the fact that I can add value to each and every staff member that I touch on a daily basis by driving the values and principles of banking and my function to all that IO serve.

Pros: Great company with great people and culture
Cons: Due to size growth oppertunities are shrinking
