Am looking for growth and change of environment and to go back home in Garankuwa We have been in Bloemfontein for 6 years now and we both coming from Pretoria.

Great learning curve

On a daily basis I manage customer experiences in our branch. I welcome customer into the branch and establish a reason for the visit. I check that the customer has all the required documents for the transaction and direct them to the relevant counter. I also deal with complaints and complements- acknowledging staff on any complements and addressing issues regarding customer service. I also educate clients where digital banking options available to them. This include the banking on the app, internet, cellphone and atm. I also identify leads opportunities and refer to our sales department. Customer service is my passion and it so happens to be the one role i have spent more years in while I have gained experience in banking. I work very well with my team and often encourage my colleagues where work is concerned. Clients can be very challenging at times but I have learned to remain calm at all times over the years.

Learning and Development Institute

My day is all about building relationships via cross cluster collaboration. Drive advertising and marketing effeciencies, train and coach team members on the campaign management system. Update Management and business clusters on latest marketing and advertising trends. I work with a diverse team across all Business clusters and I have learned to approch different indivuals according to their personalities and their learning styles. I have learned a lot about behavioural differences and how to socialize team members to new ideas. I enjoy briefing agencies ATL as well as BTL, sitting in creative reviews and during production phases. Being part of a campaign being developed and implemented is the best part of my job. The challenging part in my current role is change managment within the cross cluster business units. Some of the staff members dont want to change ways of working moving with the times/trends i.e. digital and prefer doing a lot of things the same old way.

Good communication skills, fast learner , team player and admin orientated.

I have a good working relationship with my colleagues. What I learn in this industry for over the years is that people are so different in so many ways , some matured and some not so grown up. What I enjoy most of the work that I do , is that you have to apply your mind when you get a request to do , read to understand and nothing will be difficult to achieve. The most challenging aspects of this job is the different culture that you come across whereby this is also a great learning opportunity of how to be diverse

My job involves different tasks,challenging-tight timelines,make decisions under immense pressure.

I never know what the day is going to hold. Thats the excitement and i get happy theres always visible results. I deal with emergencies day and night.I have to know all 75 branches and +300 ATMs - structure, layout and areas of location in my head. Before a site is built, I conduct site risk evaluation.annotate layout plan when theres nothing-no building, and complete quotes (which gives a saving of 20% per quote for the bank) attend all project meetings. manage service providers (hold, chair meetings with service providers and suppliers) and type minutes. ensure adherence of specification. conduct inspection and sign off projects.inspect OHS equipment. monitor processes,procedure adherance; train staff.attend meetings with other banks members, police, government profiles, community profiles-build &maintain great working relationship. research&development. keep abreast with crime stats, trends &develop contingency plans. Manage BCP. monitor functionality of equipment in existing sites.

Pros: This has given me impactable experience. taught me to work hard. multi-task, juggle motherhood of toddler and work.
Cons: long working hours, exhausting. less time spent with my family, especially my 3year baby girl. bank has cut down staff to save; leaving me with additional work.

There is always someting that I learn and it helps you to grow

I work from 8h00 to 16h30 Monday to Friday. I work as a team and help each other where needed. I also stand in for each other one someone is one leave as there is always a client that needs assistance and that is our number one priority. There is always something that is changing in our environment, so I am adaptable to changes and see it as a challenge. Challenges make work more interesting, I enjoy that. There is always something to learn, does not matter how long you work for company. I also ask questions where I am not sure, instead of just doing something on my own.

Cons: I can move to a higher level but I am limited becasue I dont want to work in the bigger cities

Good working environment

I deal with clients accounts, monitoring and looking for any suspicious transactions. Call the client for more information needed to be updated. Drafting clients portfolio of evidence. Giving feedback to my superiors on each client I worked on. Sending out letters to unreachable clients, mostly invalid contact numbers.

Pros: Great growth opportunity
Cons: Too much pressure and be alert at all times. No mistakes

Salary review

works well with co-workers. Lack of planning. Enjoys being challenged in my current environment. Believe that the organisation can release most of the generation close to retirement in order to create job opportunities for youth with fresh mind set. This will also reflect organisational citizenship commitments to eliminate high unemployment rate currently experienced in the country

Being part of an on-going improved team who constantly look for areas of improving

Awesome caring environment backed with people with years of experience within the industry. Daily reports are drawn to improve and enable credit management and efficiencies. The most enjoyment is drawn when worked on a complex structure and amidst this, provide a solution to the client which benefit both parties, namely the client and Bank. Learning each day insightful knowledge of various industries, which contribute to one's experience.

Pros: Caring working environment.
Cons: No Promotion opportunities.
