Passion for insurance industry.

I am directly responsible for ensuring that TV and Radio services are broadcasting at all times possible. Interacting with my fellow colleagues is fun and very interesting as one has to deal with different personalities and cultures throughout the shift. Attending to alarms, ensuring the correct escalation process is followed and also the correct SOP is followed ensure a good day. It is very stressful having to attend to many issues during a shift. I have learnt that I am in the wrong industry. During an aptitude test, it was found that my skills would suit the Sales Industry. This is what prompted me to seek employment in the Insurance Industry as a Technical person as this would maintain my technical interest as well. I enjoy being part of a team that understands what the goal is. The most challenging aspect of the job is being able to focus for twelve hours, ensuring no issues are missed.

Pros: Good company and secure employment.
Cons: No job satisfaction.

Excellent working there

Maintaining sites, transmiiters,mast climbing antenna checks,measurements using ETL and spectrum analyser.Repairs and ordering spares and completing reports after maintenance.satellite receivers maintenance I have good relationship with my co-workers. I have learned to be confident and strong in this industry. Enjoying to make sure that the clients are happy by watching the channels at home. working on unpleasant weather.

Pros: offer other courses on their training portal
Cons: too much politics

EXCELLENT LANGUAGE TO THE CLIENT

I am always being my self in the workplace committed my self in my job and i am a reliable man for an emergency issues in the work place . the company must benefit from me as i choose to work the company and i have a good relationship with other people in the workplace and also to respect the workplace

Great working environment, there's diversity andequal opportunities

Multichoice is a great company, there's alot of diversity and equal opportunities, it's a great working environment. Very challenging and a bums on seat environment. People are very focused and encourage you and willing to help with queries that you can't resolve immediately.I have most definitely learnt that customer service is about listening and understanding the query before jumping to resolve and always putting your customer first at all times. Treat every query differently and make it a priority. Most challenging is the escalation process. ..it takes long and leaves you with a irrate customer

Excellent experience

I love my job as a customer service representative because i enjoy working with people. I meet different people with different characters everyday. Difficult customers are like a challenge for me and i feel so happy if i resolve the issue and helped the customer at the end of the day. I enjoy working with a team where we can sit and brain storm ideas on how to be better at our jobs.

The experience was scintillating.

The company phenomenal to work, as you'd have a hassle free atmosphere as soon as you went till I knocked off. The best shift was the early shift from 7th to 3pm. The company taught how being panctual plays a big role in one's career and of cause all the technical side of the profession. The most challenging side was having to learn and perfect being technical savvy.

Excellent Learning Curve

Multichoice it was a great company to be , I learned how to troubleshoot and fix where needed.giving good customer good service, learned how to talk to customers handling different issues in IT.the inviroment was good .the challenge is wen we deliver goods to customers.

Good learning experience

Working at multichoice is always busy and fun at times. The people I work with are amazing and they male coming to work interesting. Being able to assist customers is key and makes work more productive because at the end the customer is happy.
