Opportunity to get new experience and a fresh challenge

MultiChoice is an incredible and dynamic company which is extremely multi dimensional. I have enjoyed the criss africa business experience. The high pressure environment and the global perspecrive of the organization. My growth has been steady and calculated over the years. The challenge of designing and redesigning of business processes has been a highlight together with my stakeholder management roles, both internal and external. I have excelled in my management roles and have a proven record to this effect. Thank you Kind regards Tieho

Pros: Dynamic and multi facet environment
Cons: Multitasking high stake projects, with no room for error

Great learning curve

Ive learned alot at multichoice, alot about customer relations and how to deal with different personalities. Its been a great experience. MY Day to day activities included reporting in on time , receiving calls about financial /technical issues, assisting customer with issue at hand , reporting to supervisor if necessary. I learned how to be an independent team player , that sometimes you need to go an extra mile for customers

Pros: learning curve
Cons: long hours

Good company,excellent learning curve

Working for Multi-choice has given all the experience i need in the Customer Service world. Dealing with different customers on a daily basis, resolving queries was always my main target. I have learnt that if you are a Customer Service Representative you always need to empathize with Customers. What i enjoyed most at Multi-choice was knowing that when a Customer calls in with a query I would be able to resolve it immediately. Most challenging aspects of being an CSR is when customers get irate. It's always best to use soft skills and not be irate Wil the Customer as well.

Pros: Promotion
Cons: Long Working hours

Great opportunities lie ahead

Working until 23pm is the worst especially with transport and the fact that it is a bit expensive than the early shifts.. Rotation shifts gets u very tired even if u do get a day off for rest, the recruitment is a bit bad as u don't get your full rate if you got in through an agency.my coworkers are very good but some of them are rude especially if you've joined a new team, its not that easy to settle down

Pros: there are opportunities to be permanent
Cons: the last shift is too much specially transport wise

The experience was scintillating.

The company phenomenal to work, as you'd have a hassle free atmosphere as soon as you went till I knocked off. The best shift was the early shift from 7th to 3pm. The company taught how being panctual plays a big role in one's career and of cause all the technical side of the profession. The most challenging side was having to learn and perfect being technical savvy.

Pros: growth was slow
Cons: none

Great Company Benefits, Lovely Staff

The staff was great. Everyone had an air of "we're here to work and make money." They were helpful and amicable. The work life balance was non existent. As a customer care agent the basic salary was on the lower side of the spectrum, so to supplement overtime is a constant must. Because I lived in Soweto and the office was in Randburg, and I was using public transport; It would sometimes make more sense to sleep at work then start a new day. That way I get enough sleep, save money and am punctual.

Pros: Respectable comapy, great staff
Cons: Long hours, Distance and Transport, Low Pay
