Good communication and typing skills, a focus and a quick worker, active.
It a target driven place so I have to be persuasive and use a lot of jargons for me to get through the people I speak to . Understand consumers right and be able to talk an type at the same time. Team work is important and the ability to communication with co-workers and at the same time being productive while working alone. Meeting deadlines . I enjoy sharing ideas in success of the business as im the top collector an also learning from others. Before I was there was too passive ,now ive learnt that in life you have to be assertive. When targets are not being met thats my challenge but , I know how to recover.when I walk in I walk in with a smile becouse I alway look forward to a brand new day.
Pros: Always willing to climb the leader
Cons: As long as I know my work is done.

Change is good
How does a typical day looks like ? A well organised and planned day where things are done on time, deadlines are met, the job is done and productivity is visible by end of the day. Relationship with co -workers A work relationship should constantly be professional, team work applied at all times where there is support and improved performance. What i have learned? I have learned that change is difficult, but if one does not change at all, it is failing. What i have enjoyed most? Coaching and taking minutes of the meetings held .
Pros: better paying job
Cons: Poor Salary paid monthly.

Good environment
Excellent work environment Team leaders are the best I have learnt a lot working with different individuals and had learnt alot. Its allows growth within the company and also allows the employers a chance to study further which is an opportunity most company dont offer

Debt collections Its not an easy job ,but it is achievable.
I'm working in target driven environment. Day in day out we have to see to it,we sell debit orders.if all the people in the book has a debit order we all feel we have achieved our perpose for the day.when we have a workable campaign we do our best coz we have all the tools.Typical day its when the is no contatebility obviously you will not have ptps and no debit orders.working with different characters it's good because we challenge each other,and we share ideas.what I have learnt is dat if you wanna reach your goals you have to come up with good strategy, know how to break down your work so you can achieve your goal.
Pros: Moving from one department to another it's good.

A day in branch IT Cape Town
As the call centre starts working at 07h30 in the morning, I am in at 07h00 to check the servers/switches/cameras and fibre lines are up and running. Ensure the helpdesk ticket schedule for the day is up and running for the IT staff member on shift. We assist the agents on the floor with issues like headsets which are faulty, sound problems or any IT related issues. As our head office is in JHB and they control the main servers, we constantly have to check if the internet is faulty,mail down ect. Having previously managed a IT server room with issues in a call centre, it is very challenging to await feedback from head office as this is unproductive. The nature of the call centre business is every challenging as we can have software or hardware to be implemented at the last minute as communication between IT and Operations is lacking. I enjoy IT as everyday there is something different and new.

New challenge
I like the fact that this is a new challenge for me as I had no idea of a call center environment before I worked at mbd. what is exciting about my job is daily targets that one have to reach and competing with fellow employees on reaching the set standards. yes I am not earning well but I am thankful for the opportunity and experience because one can always working his way up through hard work and determination so that one can get a better post and a decent salary. I have learned how to communicate with people from different cultures. What I enjoy most is being kept on my toes to achieve the set goals for the day. What is challenging about this job is that dropped calls, reversals and broken promises.
