Excellent learning Curve

I get the learnership at gijima it ws the most wonderful thing that ever happend to me because I was going to learn something new in my life and I was very scared but my mentor was doing by all means to take us step by step till we finish the programme. But the was a delay in finding the placement for us. We got the placement on October and pthe proork for

Hard worker, excellent at grasping new technologies, good attitude

I've had a great work experience

A typical day at work would usually start with a stand up meeting, where we account for what we have done the previous day. From there forecast the task we will be doing and then go about doing the tasks, No day is the same as i also do support work and we have meetings aswell. My relationship with my co workers is good. We are only two devs in my team. I've learnt to wear many hats at gijima, even though my primaryrole was a developer. I did BA,BI and software testing jobs. What i enjoy most about my job is interacting with clients and actually getting work done.The most challenging aspects of my job would be when deadlines need to be met and having clients change requests.

I always needing to learn more

I just completed my Electrical Trade. I have a Diploma in IT Communication Networks, A+ certificate, and I am a Microsoft Certified Professional also Microsoft Technology associate. I have worked as both IT technician and as an Electrical assistant. I am very ambitious and I believe nothing is impossible. My problem solving abilities and my desire to learn more are my strengths. I am a team player who believes in team work. I have knowledge of fixing computers and printers and also troubleshoot them.

No growth

Been working at gijima for 3 years and I had never felt appreciate or considered an important part of the company. We are being underpaid and no increase or medical aid is being provided to us. I feel like Im putting my life at Risk but the company does nothing to take care of me.
