Great learning curve
Working at the Gauteng department of Health was really a learning curve for me since i started out as an intern and then got offered a contract afterwards. Also working closely with the Chief Director of supply chain was a bit challenging, but at the end of the day i got the job done. Working together with my co-workers was what i really enjoyed most because we helped each other wgen faced with a challenge.

Great exposure
It's a very hectic environment. New policies most of the time and have to adhere to the. Leaning new things all the time is very exciting and makes me eager to learn and enjoy my work

EXCELLENT DEVELOPENT WORK AND CAREER LIFE
monitoring and planning for workflow. It involves also capturing of information with different systems like SAP. A lot of processes need to be followed for the work to be done efficiently. Teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills are part of me because of the working environment.

Great benefits and learning curve
Working with great colleagues who are also wonderful mentors. You learn so much as the health care system is broad. It gets challenging at times when you find yourself dealing with social issues, but that's when ethics and professionalism comes in.

Good learning curve
The work load is too much, according to the nurse patient ratio. On an average day one professional consults a total of 45 patients, which is 10 patients above the Normal accepted nurse patient ratio.

A Day at work
Quality assurance and clinical governance has many challenges. A typical day entails dealing with ego of people and pointing many in the correct direction. Diplomacy and professionalism is key to success. one has to be a peoples person.
