Learning how to work with different people
A typical work day would consist out of ensuring that shelves are stocked and that the items are priced correct, I also had to build items like gym equipment and gas braai's for display purposes, and to maintain a high level of customer service. My relationship with my co-workers is very good ,we have a good working relationship and we work as a team to ensure that the work needs to be done. I enjoyed working with different types of people and the fact that I could use my initaitive and be creative when it came to merchandising my departments I work in. The most challenging part is the long shifts I have to work.

Good learning curve
Its a good company but terrible managment...working there i have gained experience alot but yet not happy of the way we are treated. Certain managers are very good to work for but some are nighgmare eg.checkout managmnet. All in all m thankful

I like to work with poeple , comunication and I like to relate with poeple , setting goals , setting deadlines, dealing with customers , the extend to go that extra mile just to put a smile on customers face ,capturing wages on weekly and monthly basis

It gives one an understanding of how things work in that environment ,the fundermentals of the business as a whole its a great place to get experience and understanding of how things work but there is no room for development

I am a conscientious person who works hard an pays attention to detail.
Everyday is almost the same where I deal with customers personally and telephonically which I enjoy . I am a friendly peoples person which helps me deal with difficult customers. Sometimes my job can be a bit stressful but because of my self motivation I overcome it. I get on with all my co-workers and I have learnt alot from them . The most enjoyable part of my job is seeing the expression or hearing the voice of a satified customer that I have helped. The most challenging part of the job is when a co-worker speaks lies to a customer and you have to correct is mistakes.

Excellent amount of experience
My typical daily tasks are to assist with customers, packing stock on shelves, counting stock, shelve labelling, customer service, dealing with difficult customers, maintain clean department. I have a very good relationship with team members, always assist others. I assist relieving reception, answering busy switchboard and I help out as a cashier. I am a good team player and work well under pressure. Im always willing to learn and help out in different departments to gain experience. I also do have relevant experience as a receptionist from previous jobs. I have experience in call centre working as a debt collector. I have worked as a consultant doing loans.

Gained new skills
In my daily job I deals with different types customers looking to purchase a phone or to take out a contract. Have to deal with misprinted information and incorrect pricing. I work closely with my colleges especially when we need to solve a situation involving a customer. We all get along quite well. I've learnt how to adapt to situation and that a helping hand can really go a long way. I've learnt very important when working with people around you especially customers. The difficult part of the job is trying to please an extremely unsatisfied customer and making sure everyday receives the best service.

Excellent learning curve
i work at a fairly large company with staff at the region of 150 people mostly deal with the staff queries when they have problem i am mostly their first point of contact. i deal with export of hours and make sure that everyone gets paid accordingly at the end of the month and at the end of the week.i control petty cash and the control of daily expenses in the store. i am a very welcoming person. in the position i am in, i have to be welcoming and able to listen to the queries of every member in the store. i have learnt to be patient in everything i do. i have learnt that deadlines are most important and time management is of essence when working in an environment that is demanding. the most challenging part of working in the environment is that you deal with a lot of duties at the same time and one has to be able to give time to every aspect of the job. i enjoy dealing with people with different personalities and from different walks of life as one learns a lot through people.

Excellent Customer work exposure
The working environment is a very busy and demanding which enables one to gain skills of working under presssure. It allows a great deal of customer one on one interaction which result into provision and understanding the needs of each customers and good sales. We meet different people with different problems and that makes each interaction different from costomers to customer and that forces you to be accomadative and put their needs first regardless of the treatment you receive from them, that can be fraustrating and disturbing at times especially is one is not used to the kind of working environment This type of working environment has tought me resiliance, patience, pay attention to detail, problem solving and work ethical conducts.

No growth
I enjoy helping others.its the overs and unders thats challenging because when the cashier is short or over it becomes a problem.Though we don't think the same as collegues but I made sure to keep positivity and do the best of my capability and there are hardships but we learn.I always keep in mind the policies of the company first.its not easy to deal with different kinds of people and being a sales person because you always have to answer whether it is right or wrong because you always have to deal with difficult customers that will make sure to distract your day but I keep calm and focus on the positiveness and always handle every situation good and move on.
