No growth
Upper management is family based and abusive toowards their employees. The work in its self is competitive and i enjoyed it. Although the management style of the store and regional managers is nothing more than creul and not suitable for a professional enviroment. The staff do their best and the store was second in the region but the staff is still being broken down.
Pros: growth limited
Cons: work 6 days a week from half past 6 till 19:00

Managing staff. suppliers and corrective action
I was involved in Telkom Call Centre for 12 years as an agent and 7 years as Operational Manager. was responsible for all performance feedback and corrective actions. I run the WAN agreement between Telkom and ABSA. I do have sales experience in a Sales Call Centre My daily function also included managing, motivating and coaching of staff. Including merchandising, ordering stock,stock rotation and control, checking and clearing invoices, GP monitoring and adjustments. Profit and loss statements, waste and shrink management and control. Profitability vs % Salary per department. Management of department Managers . We introduced SOP's for departments, done implementation, preparation and guidance as part of our studies. I am a fast learner and able to adapt very quickly. I should be very grateful. I have the determination and the enthusiasm to ensure that I make a success of it.

Fast leaner
its really an experience that i have gained here at food lovers market,i get along with everyone,some of my collegues would say i have lot of galfriends at work,it isreally a joy to work here only if the money was good,i would miss everyone i work with if i have an oppotunity to work somewhere else,i have learnt customer service and dealing with different kinds of moods,what i enjoy most about my company is that every body here want a piece of me and i help everywhere i can whole heartetly,the most challenging part of the job is when everyone is standing infront of me for their prices as i do prices
Pros: i do promotion prices which i love because i get the promo phamplet before everyone else does
Cons: we do work long hours but what i can say a job is a job you need to do whats need to be done

Grow my talent an expertise
I am currently seeking greater career opportunities to grow my talent and sales experience. I've been working in the FMCG industry for five years and starting at the bottom and still working my way to the top .I've gathered much experience to be able to make a success of any company/brands if given the opportunity. I consider myself to be disciplined and always wear my brands/company on my sleeve. I am trustworthy in the sense that I've always worked independently without supervision and still achieve individual & team goals/targets I consider myself disciplined, trustworthy and reliable and live my life according to these values not just in my professional life but in my personal life as I believe charity starts at home.

Excellent learning curve
I completed my training in August and started to work as an a Health and safety auditor. Then I was apportioned as a produce department manager then after three month I became a grocery manager. I also work as an acting assistance manager.
Pros: Promised opportunity but salary remains the same.moved up to position but salary remains

Good working place
I enjoyed working with them as I was doing my best to the company.Helping customer and knowing the exact same problem you are dealing with.The management was great and the environment was good to work with/for.Handling customer and making sure that they are satisfied and also knowing what to expect from them.

Typical day is drawing up invoices on excel and using Microsoft,do stock take, draw up a balance sheet, phone clients and send out ordes, all of the administrative work. I have learned that if you are not a hard worker you shall not prosper
My day starts off with calculating daily targets for all different departments. Filling of waste and transfers of each department. Answering of phne calls checking emails for customer complaints.
