Learn every day new things

I have work for South 32 for 10 years, looking after a workforce of 315 employees. I have both Head Office and site experience. Last year August i decided to take the voluntary retrenchment package, i joined EOH as as a HR Consultant [contract basis]. i love working with all levels of employees. Respect all. I have learned that you need to treat everyone the same, no matter the level. Give your best and deliver.

Learning curve

I meet with business and do change requests CO workers are fine to engage with on work related matters I want to learn to be more than a 1st line consultant, I want to be involved in the development of the project till its final stage Meeting with business and they don't know what they want exactly but still argue when you try to raise possible solutions. Undecided Business personnel are difficult to work with. Rating Junior consultants less than R15000 per month is not fair as cost of living is too high these days and having to survive on a take home of less than r10000 is even more difficult. After working long hours with business the least thing one can look forward to is a salary that lasts the whole month. We parents and have families to provide for

Experience made

I had a very successful career and learnt a lot. My career grow from one level to another. I learnt to work with people well and understood the importance of good communicating. My experience and qualifications is something that I will forever hold dear to me

I learned alot of things from the company

Each day i would look at new incoming calls attend to them do follow up with other team members who work on site , i would use telephones or emails to communicate with clients or team members.

Committed to Client Service Delivery both internal and external

EOH has given me the opportunity to work in the Public Sector. Having come from the Retail Sector and working within a corporate environment it was great to experience different cities within South Africa. I have built good relations with co-workers and clients. I enjoy the challenge of problem solving and analysis. I also enjoy the Service Delivery Management aspect of my job, I was lucky enough to be a Service Delivery Manager on 2 projects. Though it was challenging to was rewarding and fulfilling especially when there was a smile on the clients face.

Vibrant environment

typical day at work is busy,voices everywhere. it's a call centre environment that is full of young vibrant people who have a can do attitude. the challenge is getting to convince members of our product and getting ahold of them. our success is closing queries and assisting member to the best of our ability.

Excellent learning curve

It is very nice to work at EOH because they give you space to work independently and be able to deliver on your own . i have learnt to work alone and be able to finish projects on my own My most joy is team work most challenging is when deals not been closed and clients are not responding at an expected time
