Day starts with releasing a co worker from his/her shift. Check wastage and daily recieving and cleaning report then begin merchandising. Relationship with co-workers is simple and straight team workbis what I believe in most and workmanship within the work place. It has been said in order to lead one must learn how to follow with that being said i have learnt that being corrected and taught new ideas and ways of doing something particular your implications must prove beyond what it is you were taught. I enjoyed the pressure, the learning, challenges but most imperatively i enjoyed working to the best of our abilities and challenging the limits. Most challenging aspects was having to be firm and fare to fellow employees since tough decisions were made by me

Project Management-interact with various departments like Sales, Property, Legal, Procurement, HSEQ, Logistics The most challenging is the behavior of the product we deal with on a daily basis, I believe if the product was friendlier one it would be boring eg LPG Breakdown maintenance - Manage and ensure all my 123 sites (Service stations) have a good working equipment at all times Preventative maintenance - All legal requirements are met (Calibration of pumps and meters, COC, LPG) Environmental Projects - Contamination clean ups and rehabilitations

Not the best
I’ve worked for this company for two years and seven months and it hasn’t been the greatest experience. Most of my colleagues happen to be egotistic and disrespectful . the managing team is not a strong team at all , theirs constantly a power struggle with who must lead and who must not,And because the managing team is failing at delivering good leadership the rest of the staff ends up lacking a lot of qualities which is awkward for me because I worked in a hospitality industry before and got to understand how important it is to build a powerful team. It’s not a great place for people who don’t just want an income but to learn too. Poor salary, hard labor and no specific indication of your job description. Personally, the only thing I got to learn and improve while here is working on branch and I got to change my dress code.

Good learning experience
I am responsible for recruitment, talent management and succession planning of staff. I also do the headcount planning together with the analysis of where critical staff will be needed in the next 2 year business cycle of the company. I am responsible for all union negotiations where we negotiate around salaries as well as all working conditions matters for staff.

Life in General
I am an individual whom gets along with people, i was a radio presenter for over 10 years,and my experience has given me the opportunity to meet and greet and get along with people from all walks of life. A typical day at the office is very carm and concentrated , focusing on the to do"s for the day. The relationship with co workers is very simple and to point, i believe when its time to work we should work together to complete a days job, and i enjoy team players that have the same set as me, as we grow with together with the company on hand. In life i have learnt that in order to make ends meet in a company you would need to go out and find how its done, at the same time we meet people in our day to day life that knows something we don't we to should learn from them. I enjoy the working environment that has a lot of postivity and balance. After a days work music is my hobby . Challenging in a job, when things dont turn out the way you want... hence the pressure is on.

Daily Work day
I work on a rotional shift by-weekly and shift include 7.00 till 15:45 / 8:00 till 17.00 and 10:00 till 19.00. There has to be constant interaction between colleages to assist our client base with regards to placing of orders for petroleum or oil as well as assisting them with the maintenance of their facilities. It is important to keep that personal relationship with your customer on a proffesional level and handle all interactions whe ther via email/skype or telephonewith intergrity. The mood within the enviroment can become stressfull however we tend to handle it with not taking anything personal and can keep a light-hearter inter-personal relationship with one another. We laugh and stress together but in the end you feel empowered by another successfull day-and you learn constantly as the industry is constandly changing.
Pros: Excellent oppurtunity for growth and promotion as well as salary increase on a yearly basis as well as bonusses that are based on company progress
Cons: Dont take stressfull customers to heart when they are not doing well

i have a good relationship with colleague, i have learn how to received truck petrol ,i enjoy the most filling and also do the planogram the challenging part is that when the customer refused to understand the situation or procedure of the company

Great workplace
I aim to acquire professional knowledge and skills in Production/Process Engineering where I’d apply my knowledge to optimize the processes in place and help improve the overall process efficiency. With process efficiency interlinked with the production throughput, I believe collaborating my knowledge and skills together with those of my team members, we would improve businesses performance through improved process efficiencies and production throughputs.
