I am responsible fot eh recruitment, succession planning and retention of staff in the countries wherever we operate. I am also responsible for the HR budget which includes the headcount, staff turnover etc for the countries where we operate. The most challenging part of the job is to ensure that our HR practices aligned to the labour laws in countries where we operate. I enjoy working with the unions on salary negotiations as well as recruitment of top talent for the company.

Very Good in GRC Access control
An GRC Access Control Certified individual who have more than 7 year experienced in SAP and LAN Authorization. I can perform SAP Authorizations across various SAP landscapes which includes Development, QAS and Production SAP client. I am deadline oriented and can fit well within a team. I am adaptable, lateral thinker, quick learner and very passionate about my job. I have an ability to handle large volumes of work in a pressurized environment where there are regular interruptions. I am self-motivated, team-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability and high level of attention to detail. Right now I would like to work for a company that will not only challenge me professionally but also allow me to develop my knowledge & potential further. I am looking forward to grow myself into a SAP Security Professional.

Excellent learning curve
Great people, challenging and rewarding. During any day in my work environment, I face many challenges which I enjoy because it helps me to learn new things, it helps me grow in my work as well as in my life. I love working with other people and learning about their cultures and work ethics. By learning from others it helps me to have a better knowledge of how to handle different situations. I definitely look up to management purely because the have so much to teach me. I will always follow to the best of my abilities but I will not hesitate to take initiative in my work to further better myself and my work. I think the hardest part of any job is being able to push yourself as far as you can possibly go. To exceed your own expectations. Most people are too scared to reach for the stars, to excel in your work. The easiest part of any job is to enjoy what you do, because it's the fact that you enjoy what you do that makes you do it well.

HArdworking and always eager to learn
I am a competent, self-motivated, self-discipline, creative person with a high morals and a high pressure tolerance and currently representing and managing the regional promotional portfolio for Engen the Petroleum Company within the Western Cape and Easter Cape. Over the years I have managed to successfully equip myself with the necessary proficiencies to perform a range of functions within the field of customer interface/ relations, financial controls, understanding the chemical and industrial components within the petroleum sector, marketing and advertisement and by managing key accounts for Engen the company. Other skills I have acquired necessary to fulfil this function are related to the field of multimedia as all processes are captured electronically.

I am presently employed at the Engen's Development Lab. I have also worked at the Engen Refinery Lab, SAB QC Lab and Huntsman Tioxide Labs. I have 10 years collective experience in these labs. I have been on Quality Awareness and Environmental Awareness training programmes which has provided valuable and relevant information to working in a lab. I have also worked on SAP and LIMS programmes (when reporting results) as well as have experience in creating reports. I have participated in proficiency testing and calibrated equipment. New product development and dealing with customer complaints is a large part of my responsibilities. I have completed a degree in Operations Management (Cum Laude with Dean’s Merit award). I have also been on first aid and HSE rep courses as well as Intro to SAMTRAC.

Great Learning experience
Previously, I worked within two high-volume customer-support call centers for a major telecommunications carrier and a satellite television services provider. In these positions, I demonstrated the ability to resolve a variety of issues and complaints (such as billing disputes, service interruptions or cutoffs, repair technician delays/no-shows and equipment malfunctions). I consistently met my call-volume goals, handling an average of 56 to 60 calls per day. In addition to this experience, I gained considerable customer service skills during my employment as an Access Controller for Metrorail.

Brilliant organisation to work for
Working for such an organisation is mind blowing and full of surprises, because you learn everyday on the technology that is available for us to embrace. Engen has been my home for 10 years and I believe I have gained an ample amount of experience and I have giving the team my all for production to increase. leading a team to execute breakdowns and shutdowns diligently without any injury safely starting up the plant is of paramount to one. Very fortunate to been given opportunity of experience many different roles at organization.
Attend to tender board meetings and meetings with stakeholders i.e. internal customer and suppliers. Weekly status meeting on key initiatives. Open door policy with all staff members. Weekly staff session to connect with all staff on cultural beliefs. I enjoy developing staff and seeing them succeed in achieving their objectives. Governance issues and business not open to sharing information in order for us to plan spend.
