Bad/poor

There's no medical benefits and the labour is exposed to infections as there are no saftey guarantees. We are not paid what is due to us as Municipal Employees and the costs of living have changed to high in expenses. Can you please ask the office of the Pub lic Protector to investifgate since our working conditions are unbearable.

Better myself

I take minutes during meetings and type them prepare venue for the meeting Compile monthly report do procurement of office supplies I am currently studying towards BA in Disaster and Safety Management with Lyceum College. I have dome Local Government Certificate I also did Human Resource Diploma Public Administration Diploma Occupational HEalth and Safety Diploma

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE

AND INSTALLING SOME SOFT WAEES E.G arcGIS pro, firebox thats all and prinnting the maps and the relationship with core-workers is very beautfull because im a nice person and no one is rude here we are fine

Career progression and diversification

Working provided me an opportunity to assist in project management. It was a great opportunity to be involved with working with contractors, deal with different engineering companies and departments and other stakeholder.

Pros: It was totally different work environment from accounting

Working in key community service delivery environments at local government legal department

I have gained additional qualifications and almost complete MBA , thesis by June 2017. I work on various sectors and address Lefal Compliance, Contracts Management and Courts under my umbrella er er.

Its exciting but challenging because of the bureaucracy and various levels of reporting. I enjoy working with different stakeholders whether industry players, politicians or colleagues.

Excellent learning curve

My current job is a good platform to enter into the job market. It enhances my critical thinking, I get to interact with different people at conferences, meetings and co-workers. On a daily basis I come to work and start reading journals and preparing different chapter for my research report, I get to work with data, attend conference and colloquiums. I have learn to work strongly with a team because we give support to each other and other departments. I love the fact that the job is challenging and gets me to think harder, prepares me also for when I want to study further like Masters and PhD. I have learnt to be patient, to communicate well, to focus and work well under pressure, most important manage my time very well and be disciplined.

Im looking for a job as driver

I Ntavhanyeni Erick Netshiongolwe age 32,I have started to work at freight logistics on 2010.After I did a learnship of code 14 driver on 2012 in VDS,after I went to cvds I work as driver in 2013 until 2015,I went to Bongani Rainmaker Logistics from 2015 until 2017,I went to Ekurhuleni metropolitan municipality I worked as driver it was a contract of three months.

I'm a hard working gal who can work under presi. I enjoy working a lone so that I can see my weekends and strength. Bt I also like to work as a team sure and willing to learn more

Keen to learn from my superior

I get along very well with my co-workers at work, I do not do typing job always but I am more to explore the Finance field and so far I've learned so much in terms of Finance, reconciliation, cash flow, assets management and phone manners. Last financial year I was assigned to purchase office furniture for the whole municipality offices and I found it very challenging but i managed to pull through.

Pros: I am ready to take any task comes to me
Cons: Some municipality workers don't do their task and that affect other workers
