I have had the privilege of working in the Freight Forwarding Industry. I have extensive experiences accumulated within the industry having started from 2005 till current. I started within the industry on my learnership with BAX Global who later was bought over by DB Schenker, then later promoted to be a customs coordinator.

Self Motivated, optimistic, Hard worker
Beneficial industry that give's you the knowledge of different types of medication is distributed. Medical field has a broad field of which there is so much growth in.

Great company
Well being working under Dsv company it's good, I have learned a lot especially the places we delivering to, and we work like normal hours, weekend off that's wht I like the most even though I don't mind working on weekends

Learning Curve
Handling handover shipments and liaising with clearing agents • Invoicing shipments • Batching documentation and forwarding to clients • Ensuring shipment pre – alerts are sent prior to arrival • Arranging deliveries • Tracking and traces shipments • Motivating team members and assisting • Submitting shipments for customs clearance

Adaptatation
I have learned I cannot dwell on what I cannot change. Criticism is effective in helping me better my self. Always to separate my work and personal life , not to take things personally. Do my job effectively and right the first time. Always remember to be professional as I am representing the company ( I am the company). Being a part of a team and the relationship I have with my manager and colleagues keeps me motivated and picks up my spirits when it is a bad day and no one will even notice that I have a bad day.
Pros: I am now trusted with 1 client that I take care of, it is not a promotion, but it is part of growth.

Growth
My day at work is fun yet challenging but the is never a dull moment. Just when you think you got a whole of our job for the day things change just like that " irate client". Much its very difficult to get along with everyone, I trust my best to. I have learned that when am at work its not about me but to give the best service to the client. I enjoy it when I get to give the service to client and you can hear that he is happy with the service. Challenges I face everyday on a typical day is those client no matter how you try but never satisfied. But I know its part of my job.

Excellent working enviroment
Very demanding enviroment challenging work atmosphere, colleagues work tirelessly.Management support is always great. The challenging aspect is working to meet deadlines and meeting KPI. With that being said its was always great to meet these KPI.
Pros: Always being recognised for all efforts and rssults.
Cons: Working on Public Holidays and over weekends

Excellent learning curve, excellent company to work for
I facilitate Training to 300 people at a Workshop - This could be more or less depending on the Project Assessing/Moderating of POE's for submission to SETA Ensuring that our Accreditation are active Developing, Coaching, Mentoring of staff ( I receive more then 20 calls from employees on a daily basis regarding their Development ) Ensuring that all Training Specialist know what is expected from them. Ensuring that knowledge are transferred Design and Develop Training Material Applying for extension of scope or funding at SETA's
Pros: People Development, Design and Develop Training Programmes and Material
Cons: Travelling every single week Monday to Friday. (I really dont mind to travel every second week)

Learnt a lot
UTI was a great company to work for. Learnt a lot in a short time. Same when DSV took over. Learnt to work on different systems which is always a great challenge and fun.
Pros: Great working relationship with my fellow employees
Cons: A few cons but let bygons be bygons
