Discovery Health experience
I have work at Discovery health for the past 4 years. I started of in client services and worked my way up to training specialist with a lot of promotion s in between. I have done credit control and I have a passion for numbers. I used to work a 8:00 to 16:30 shift but my day had to be planned by myself. I enjoyed the atmosphere and culture there as I have great networking skills. Helping others became a passion of mine that is why I got into training but I still enjoy working with figures.
Pros: The company has a great name and is well established. The money was great and alot of new friendships are established. These friendships will last for the rest of your life. The recruitment process is very exhausting, ensuring that there are quality people at the company.
Cons: I feel that because of how established Discovery Health is, there is little room for chance or to voice options. There os always someone waiting for your position so if you don't like the way things are the door is always opened to leave.

Good learning curve
I create online courses as well as video recording. my relationship with co-workers is very good as i am a cheerful person. What i enjoy most is creating new material all the time and never stay at the same place. i love up killing myself and bringing new fresh ideas to the work place.
Pros: good opportunity to gain more knowledge
Cons: Too many different types of tasks at the same time

Excellent company to grow in.
- customer relations - previous jobs was part of admin and engineering and hands on. - admin and able to give instruction to subordinates and state what is needed and when - target driven and also - senior consultant be able to give advice and act as manager
Pros: Great company to grow in
Cons: Late working hours and no time for family but growth is the best.

Learning in a dynamic company
Whilst working at Discovery i have learnt so much. I have gained the knowledge to lead a tean of 15 consultants and improving their performance. I have also learnt that not everyone is the same and that each individual is needed to be coached differently. discovery is a fast pasted company that is innovatetive. Because of that I have become more innovatative and time managed. I meet every deadline no matter how many extra hour I put in. This does become difficult at times but rewarding knowing I have met the requirement on time.

People that are very stinch with their time make it in life
Typical day at work is when all people you are calling they just looking for quotes not ready to buy.I like working with my colleagues cause they easy going people like helping one another.I love making difference in people lives after doing a medical aid for them months later they call and tell you how the plan has helped them health wise and financially.
Pros: its a great company to work for how ever its commission based so the more hours you put in the more money you will make that sometimes jeopardize you family time

Hard worker
