I have matured a lot

Starting at 8am...Calling clients... Leaving at 5pm good relationship with co-workers..But here at Direct Axis, team leaders of the different departments don't listen to their agents grievances. I have learnt that to treat you co-workers with respect and not disrespect Interacting with the different departments. The challenges of meeting targets set for you

Cons: Working a lot of marathons - 8am to *pm

Slow earning rate

Great people to work with. Salary increases low. Gain lots of experience but not remunerated accordingly. Training provided only for the benefit of the company nor the individual. Knowledge training received but company reluctance to pay for the actual credits and qualifications. Hard work and dedication goes by unoticed. Others take credit for your work. Incentives not worth it.

Pros: Friendly atmosphere
Cons: Far for me to travel

My daily routine

I perform compliance reviews on applicable regulations Escalate identified finding Conduct impact assessment for new regulations Compile reports that are tabled in Executive meetings My job has taught me to engage with people at all levels I enjoy conducting fieldwork and investigating processes and fraud. The most challenging aspect of my job is being seen as a watchdog which result to people not being comfortable to share everything when you are around.

Pros: Great opportunity to interact with Executive Management
Cons: To instill the culture of compliance

Direct Axis is a wonderful company to work for

A typical work day consists of me making my target of 15 applications per day, which is achievable. I have a good relationship with my co-workers and we all work well together. This job has taught me how not to crack under pressure and to deal with difficult clients.

New challenge

This would be an ideal chance for new beginnings, needed to get something that will eventually grow me Experience I feel like I spent so much time in my recent workplace and I dont want to be so comfortable and forget about my ambitions.

Direct Axis

I've been with Direct Axis for 3 years now, we've had many struggles and successes together, I've learned that just as much as Direct Axis needed me, I needed them, we've done many charitable things together for the less fortunate out there. an ordinary day at DA would be taking calls and a assisting customer with any account related queries, it wouldn't be a normal day if you haven't had at least 1 angry customer and that's the part of my job I loved the most. relationships with my co-workers was awesome, as I'm always trying to uplift people in my department and because of my relationship with co-workers and management alike, I was called on numerous occasions to be a stand in team leader. being a team leader was the most challenging aspect in my time at DA, but I suppose I did a good job hence, I was always given the task to stand in

Testing ones abilities as a forward Thinker

Direct Axis is a financial institution, which also means that you worked in a ever changing environment. Especially the department that i worked in was susceptible to the majority of the business changes that took place. the department and teams i work with became like your second family. Very caring and loads of fun. I enjoyed the training and teaching aspect of my job especially when knew roll-outs of new procedures were introduced which was almost up to a point every day!

Salary is to little

Direct Axis is a good company to work for however the staff is not all equipped to do the work yes they earn much more than what I do which I feel is not fair

I enjoy learning new things

I am a hard working person who enjoys learning new aspects, interacting with people that is why I fit very well in a team. I am a very strong individual and I am able to use my own initiative to achieve the expected objectives. My ability to prioritize and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously is what makes me special as it is in an excellent manner, I am a good communicator both verbally and written. I enjoying working on different projects as each task given to me helps me grow as an individual thus I give 190% to every task given to me. I enjoy working with figures and computers, that is why I found myself in a numerical and administrative course.

Excellent learning curve

My current role at direct axis has given me exposure to recruitment , am current holding Diploma in HR, my current duties are : making telephonic interviews, conducting all risk checks like credit checks,references ,criminal and education check and well as advertising current roles within direct axis, both internal and external . I also had an opportunity to work with agencies like harambee doing interviews and worked with status staffing as they are supplying us with candidates . I enjoy the inter action with candidates and we have a good relationship they even call me with outcomes of the interviews

Pros: I have gain so much experience and I can be a great candidate
