Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot OS in users Desktop and Laptops Capturing calls to ITSM system Using Windows Remote Assistance to assist users in remote district offices Provide first line support via telephone Install and troubleshoot printers for users Perform username administration (Create, Add) Password administration (Lock and unlock accounts on Novell) Install and configuring departmental 3G Install and troubleshoot departmental application softwares ( Persal, LOGIS, ArcGIS, SuperSign) Connecting users laptops to projectors and WePresent screens Connecting users to internet and scanners using FTP utility Migrating users from GroupWise to Outlook Installation and updating of Antivirus Connecting users to Shared and network printer

Good administrative experience

I was working in the Department Rural Development and Land Reform as Office Assistant for a period of 12 years. We where dealing with land issues. Our main focus in our unit was Rural Disaster Mitigation Services.

Excellent learning curve

I have completed my National Certificate (Corporate forensic investigation), National Diploma (Internal Auditing) and also B- Tech Internal Auditing, I am currently working for Department of rural development and land reform as a senior accounting clerk. I have extensive experience in accounts payable, internal auditing and Salaries. I have knowledge of PERSAL, BAS ,PFMA,Tand LOGIS. I'm a hard worker

1.typical work day is good 2. my relationship with co-worker is excellent 3. I learnt how to solve a problem and dealing with different people and with their charactor and the different department with their duties because i'm working in 3 department which are Land tenure and administration(LTA), Recapitalisation and development(RECAP) and Rural enterprise and industrial develpment(REID). 4. I enjoy when coming to meetings with commual property because this 3 department are related they work with community. 5. Up to so fair i did not get any challenge

Pros: is to introduce myself to the many people
Cons: i enjoy working long ours because even some of the weekend i use to be in.

Excellent learning cave

Installing and maintaining of Philips Medical Systems but not limited ((Life support machine used in hospitals) i.e. Equipment’s like patient monitors, defibrillator machine, fatal and maternal monitor, assisting in installation and servicing of x-ray machines). Service, testing and detect fault in analogue circuits & digital circuit boards, repair electronics equipment to component level and changing circuit board.

Planning and administration

I have been in involve a dynamic directorate in government in Department of Rural development abd land reform. I have learnt diversity of persobalities as i worked with communities, i enjoyed debates and conflict resolution regarding land issues. My understanding of planning and administration has grown after joining this department, i have met a number of challenges which some of them were difficult to resolve. My principals were the best in providing support whuch has mad me achieving exceptional results

Pros: I had a great opportunity which i bealive had opened more opportunities for me.
Cons: Too much work and long travelling hours were tough for me, but enjoyed it

Excellent learning experience

I enjoy working here because I get to learn the different sections within this directorate ,I also get to meet different people everyday I get to learn communication skills, interpersonal skills. On a day I come in early check my emails ,respond to those emails take my chartboard and inspect the ablutions, airconditioners, bulbs, inspect telephones, broken furniture or equipments make report on the findings, write requests to the supply chai management

Pros: It is a fun, enlighting opportunity
Cons: It is not a simple job to do , it requires paying attention to detail, also it require me to be more inquisitive in order to learn

I see myself as a well-presented, articulate, career-orientated individual with well-developed communication and interaction skills.
