About my job
A typical work day for me involves with interacting with clients telephonically, compiling sound reports and being a team player. My co-workers and I make a great team. Among other things that I have learnt from my job, patience is the best skill that I have learnt. The most challenging aspect of my job is having to deal with rude international clients. I always try make them understand that our accents will differ as we are from different parts of the globe.

Excellent
I worked for Deloitte and I have gained an insight of what happenes when Annual financial statements are prepared. I have also worked for the office of the auditor General. I audited the 4 clients in my 3 years working there. I have audited the Department of Royal Household, Department of Human Settlemets, Zululand District Municipality and uMhlathuze. It has been a journey for me where there has always been so ething new tl learn at every new milestone that me and my team achieved, especially with the GRAP standards changing every now and then but I have grown to be a woman who is strong sand confident that the office of the AGSA has trained me to be a woman who can conduct an audit, a team player, a woman who will one day pursue a dream of being a CFO for one of the municipalities.i can conduct an audit from the gathering of audit evidence stage to the stabe where I have to express an audit opinion on the fairness and presentation of financial statements of the clients.
Pros: I am a team player
Cons: I cannot challenge a senior that iam assigned to work with.

Excellent working environment and experience
I make a monthly plan both training and collection plan. Start booking venue for training and start preparing modules to cover. Do invitations to schools and start implementation of my plan. Update our online system on training progress daily and upload databases on line during collection week and do errors and quiries after a workshop. I have to manage 358 schools every month and more than 600 admin officers every month and both telephone and office enquiries. I hv to do a monthly report to my managers and weekly report to my office manager on implementation progress and any challenges that I came across.

Excellent chance to add value to my current skills and knowledge of auditing
My daily work as an Audit Supervisor is to ensure that the Audit's commence as planned, and to ensure that the Audit field work are carried out as intended and within the allocated budget. Set up the Audit team based on the size of the engagement and team members experiences. What I enjoy most is when I prepare the Audit report after we obtain reasonable assurance and report our factual findings and release the Audit Reports on time. And again I have learnt that the quality of excellent work is a gear for success and that build personal confidence in the work I do.
Pros: I strongly believe with my knowledge and experience in auditing I stand a good chance for promotion
Cons: I am so dedicated to my work and achieving my goals and targets. I can invest in long hours to rich my goals and targets

Excellent Learning curve
I enjoy the challenges in various job specifications, which includes projects for various goverment departments , The aim to achieve my objectives in completion of project and make differences in community.

Reporting and meeting tight deadlines
I provide on the job coaching and review my peers audit work, because it is important to work together as a team instead of working against each other. On a normal day I review auditors audit work and preparation of audit reports, which are then reviewed by Manager and Partner. Any review queries are then addressed then the report is at the state to be release for discussion with the client. The important aspect of my work is building relationship with client and co-workers. I enjoy motivating my team and being able to stand for what is right. I have learned to be independent audit and being able to comply with the rules and regulation as it is important to be compliant in our industry. The most challenging aspects of my job is meeting client deadline without any delays and being able to report as accurately as possible.
Pros: The a great opportunity for growth and i believe that its all in you. You have to push yourself and exceed the limits. I just feel there is no growth in terms of a market related salary.

Job Foundations and Good Learning Curve
Deloitte is a good company to work for, it creates a solid learning environment and provides you with a professional experience. Leadership needs to be more transparent, honest and involved with employees as there is huge gap in this aspect. The culture trend is average.

Stable company with good company benefits but unfair and poor pay
Stable company with good company benefits but unfair and poor pay. Because the firm is large red tape slows down the decision making process. There is also no room for promotions in our team as everyone pretty much does similar jobs irrespective of their level and the team leaders own the business so they are stuck in their role and the highest level one can attain is manager level. The pay is very subjective on your connections and ability to negotiate. You are not paid for effort but rather influence.
Pros: Great working hours and flexibility as long as you get your work done
Cons: Poor opportunity for promotion
