Great learning opportunity

Whilst working within Hr department it was a very great learning experience that be able to communicate better as the HR department required to deal with sometimes personal challenges. With my capturing duties I learnt to set goals for myself and reach my daily target with little or no errors which is something I am extremely proud of.

Pros: challenges that I could get over and learn more.Well given the space to be able to do that.
Cons: working with good personality people.even though the environment was very stressful.Which I enjoy because I cope well under pressure, actually I perform best under pressure

Quick learner

WORKING AT THIS COMPANY MAKES ME LEARN SO MUCH EVERYDAY , LEARNING MORE AND MORE. IT GETS QUITE HECTIC BUT EVENTUALLY WORKING HARD PAYS OFF. I ENJOY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN A TEAM , TEAM EFFORT IS BETTER THAN WORKING ALONE , TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE. WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY BUILT UP MY CONFIDENCE BECAUSE I STARTED HERE FRESH OUT OF SCHOOL , PROBABLY THE MOST YOUNGEST EMPLOYEE IN THIS COMPANY. I ENJOY SOCIALISING WITH CUSTOMERS AND TRYING MY UTMOST TO HELP OUT WHEREVER HELP IS REQUIRED.

Pros: Creative thinker
Cons: Working long hours (12hours)

A great starting point for entry into the corporate world

I work with RFP's mainly where I administer the process from engaging with end users to understand their needs, formulate an RFP/RFI document, send it out into the market, source potential bidders, and administer the process to the evaluation stage including reporting. I also align Capex applications to budget, supervise the team and report to the Procurement head, prepare the procurement spend and sit in on Procurement committee meetings to take minutes and prepare documents. I have great working relationships with my co-workers where we can rely on each other. I've learnt a lot about procurement and its importance in the success of any organisation through buying decisions and strategis sourcing, I truly enjoy working with external suppliers and understanding how the entire supply chain alignes in the Bank. The most challenging aspects of my job are the lack of employee benefits, the salary isn't condusive to my lifestyle considering that I moved provinces for the job, and how hard it is to get a promotion.

Pros: Small organisation so I can do a lot of the work that typically are done by multiple employees in big organisations
Cons: lack of employee benefits and low salary

Working for Bidvest Bank is honestly great the staff is friendly and my seniors are very helpful.

Working for Bidvest Bank is honestly great the staff is friendly and my seniors are very helpful. I have learnt a lot within the company and I have also acquired my cirtificate in banking as well as my RE 5. What I enjoy the most is the support the company gives especially when I am about to meet a client for the first time however selling some of their products has been a challenge but with hard work and dedication I was able to achieve this and won an award as the best agent for the year.

Pros: Flexibility to expand Resources to bring on new partners Ability to take advantage of a capped taxation rate Reduced level of personal liability Limited personal liability
Cons: Difficulty of Formation Excessive Government Control Lack of Motivation and Personal Touch Oligarchic Management Delay in Decisions
