I learned about different types of Aircrafts

It is very interesting to work in International Airport. We are working as a team with my fellow colleagues. It was interesting to see how an Aircraft is taking off and landing. I learned a difference between Boeing Aircrafts and Airbus Aircrafts.

Good Steeping stone

A normal work day includes accepting passengers for their flight and and boarding the passengers onto the aircraft and also doing the arrivals of the flight. The relationship with co-workers are very professional due to the work environment. I've learnt that in this industry you also have to be punctual and respectful and also have a strong personality because if u don't people will step all over you. I enjoy working with passengers because each and every passenger is different and all different nationalities. The most challenging aspect of my job is dealing with difficult passengers and have not to lose your cool.

Excellent working environment

Working with Bidair service is challenging yet intresting, evryday is a new day,new challenges and new people.I have learnt to be patient because sometimes it get busy we can work extra hours, colleagues are understanding, we forever helping each other if there's a need. The one thing that's challenging is when you have to assist someone who can't talk English or dnt understand it, you must use body language and make sure you understand what they are saying, because one mistake the whole trip can be a mess.

Training ground

I enjoy working as being idle isnt something i can do. I work shifts sometimes 11 hours a day. Interacting with people and making sure that they are happy and comfortable is what makes my day. Some days i would have to do multiple duties and taking charge if situations which brings about a rush but in that rush the operations run smoothly.

Motivated by growth and achievment

I have a good relationship with my co-workers as well as get along with management and staff. I get bored when I have nothing to do, I prefer working rather than having nothing to do. I usually unfold my day in my mind every morning, as preparation for the day ahead and then prioritise when I get to work.

• Team leader/Supervisor – worked as a team leader and supervisor in a cleaning department for a group of 10 individuals. • Airport Management center Representative – Managing flight turnaround time which involves managing five departments (cleaning, Baggage, Catering, fueling and Passenger handling). • Duty manager - I am currently working as Duty Manager for Passenger Services managing four department consisting of a total of 145 individual’s, I have ability to manage and solve problems, perform efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. I am highly computer literate in all Microsoft Office packages
