Manage the day to day activities of projects. Review project plans to have visibility of deliverable deadlines. Follow up with go workers to understand any specifics project risks or issues that require attention. Attend project meetings, workshops, presentations. Great relationship with co workers. Really love the feeling of accomplishment when a project goes live. I find the management of the resources the most challenging aspects of my work due to the most resources having far too much work on their plates. I always try to motivate my resources to dedicate more time to my projects.

Excellent learning curve.

Great company! Many learning opportunities. Not much room for growth if you're not a BEE candidate. For the short time (1 year) that I have had the privilege to work at this company, I have worked on at least six different projects. An average of 2 months per project provides a wide range of exposure to different industries and prevents the proverbial monotonous work routine.

Cons: Only employs BEE candidates permanently

Fast leaner and hard worker

I am hardworking who is willing to work under pressure and I am team player who is willing to socialize and share ideas with others I have more experience on adminstration and I have qualifications in Accounting, I am puting creativity and innovations in the company

dispatching of stock supervision staff and loading of vehicles doing a stock count every day seeing to queries liaising with transporters and customers

Relaxed working environment

Working for the company has been fulfillin and, management operates within the values of the company.i have learned teamwork and accounting which entails the approval of invoices andand it's just a pleasant company to work forand and my reason to leave is solely cause they planning to relocate to centurion and its going to disrupt my family arrangements as my kids attend school around this area.

Excellent Learning curve

I am a skilled and successful manager in the supply chain industry with a supply chain and operations management qualifications and 10 years of experience in the sector. Having worked in number of departments (yard management, inbound, outbound , put away ,inventory , planning ,dispatch, fleet management, MHE management , cleaning service management and security management. I am confident in managing teams in a hands-on environment and running warehouses. Currently looking for a role that complements my skill set and experience.

I deliver the best under any condition with excellent planning, organizing skill and manage to keep good performance and smart improvement for the team to achieve the required KPI’s, ability to work under pressure as I’ve learn a lot from the past eight years’ experience on warehouse distribution as part of management team.

In Barloworld, health and safety, well being of staff its a priority.

Planning of the day starting from Staff, work load, unforeseen challenges, preventing them and ways to deal with challenges when or if they arise. i have learn that warning is not the only way to resolve issue or only way to fix staff. What i enjoy is the work relationship that i build amongst the teams, trust and the respect. Because we have flex labour (Labour broker Staff) when its time to reduce then due to work load its challenging.

Cons: For 10 years i have been working for Barlow i have never experience any long hours when we started,because Processes were not put in place until when we started operating.rather we have 2 shifts to Avoid long hours.
